Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) is a full-time four-year undergraduate degree course offered by Assam University, Silchar.


Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates for admission to the FIRST SEMESTER of TDC (CBCS) shall be required to have passed the Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent Examinations conducted by any recognized University/ Board/Council, which shall be treated as qualifying examinations. Provided that candidates for admission into the specific program of study shall also possess such other qualifying conditions as may be prescribed by the University or concerned college.
  • No candidate shall be admitted to the FIRST SEMESTER of the TDC (CBCS) program of study unless he/she has passed the qualifying examination;
  • No candidate shall be allowed to offer Botany/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Physics/Zoology as one of the courses/subjects unless he/she has passed the concerned subject in the qualifying examination;
  • In case of selection of eligible candidates for admission to any TDC (CBCS) program of study, the colleges shall follow the Statutory Reservation Policy of the Government including the Rules and Regulations prescribed therein.

College life was awesome only, not academics.

I found that all the necessary facilities are available at our college. It has laboratory, library, canteen, and a cafeteria. the college also encourage students to participate in the NCC which is quite good. Canteen food are also enough good quality.
