Admission is done on the basis of academic merit of the candidate in the qualifying examination and other terms and conditions prescribed by the institute.
Diploma in Plastic Technology:
CIPET Kochi also provides a three-year full-time Diploma in Plastic Technology. It is aimed at teaching both theoretical aspects and practical exposure to plastic technology. Like the Plastic Mould Technology program, this has an approved strength of 60 students every year. The admission to this diploma would also be probably based on the candidate's educational qualification and performance in the concerned subjects.
Both the diploma courses are designed to meet a balance between theoretical learning and practical experience for preparing students for plastics-related careers. The program is intended to cover both the theoretical and practical sides of plastic making and associated technology.
