The college infrastructure is very disappointing. Most classrooms are poorly maintained with broken furniture and bad ventilation. Labs are outdated, computers run slow, and software is rarely updated. The library lacks recent books, and Wi-Fi connectivity hardly works properly. Hostel facilities are unhygienic, food quality is poor, and repairs are never done on time. Sports and recreational areas are almost non-existent, and students hardly get access to proper facilities. Overall, the infrastructure feels neglected and far below the expectations from a professional college.
Academics in this college are below average. The teaching is outdated, mostly theoretical, and lacks practical exposure. Many teachers are not interested in student growth and simply finish the syllabus without proper explanations. The curriculum is old and not aligned with current industry needs, leaving students underprepared for real-world challenges. Internal exams are not transparent, and remedial support is missing. Instead of encouraging research or innovation, the system only focuses on rote learning. Overall, academics are uninspiring and fail to deliver quality education.
Placements here are extremely poor. Hardly any reputed companies visit, and the few that come offer very low packages. The placement cell is unhelpful, unorganized, and fails to provide proper training or guidance. Most students are forced to look for jobs off-campus, while the college highlights only a few rare success stories to attract admissions. There is no real industry exposure, and the career support system is weak. Overall, placements are highly disappointing and not worth relying on.
The college does not provide value for money at all. The fees charged are extremely high compared to the facilities, education quality, and opportunities provided. Students are promised modern infrastructure, quality academics, and excellent placements during admission, but the ground reality is far different. Classrooms, labs, and hostels are poorly maintained, and even basic facilities like Wi-Fi and clean water are inconsistent. Academics feel outdated, with little focus on practical learning or industry exposure. The placement record is exaggerated, as only a handful of students get decent jobs while the majority struggle without proper guidance. Considering the high cost of tuition, hostel, and other hidden charges, the returns are very low. Many students end up relying on external courses or off-campus opportunities to build their skills, which adds to the expense. Events, clubs, and extracurricular activities are also minimal, so there is hardly any holistic development. Overall, the amount of money spent does not justify the experience or outcomes. Parents and students expect much more for the fees charged, but unfortunately, this college fails to deliver on almost every front. It feels more like a business than an institute of learning.
Campus life is dull and boring with very few opportunities for students to engage beyond academics. Cultural fests and events are rare or badly managed, and student clubs receive little to no support. The strict rules in hostels make students feel restricted rather than free. There are no good recreational facilities, and the overall atmosphere feels demotivating. Interaction between juniors and seniors is limited, so there is no strong sense of community. Students end up spending most of their time either in class or outside campus. Overall, campus life is not at all enjoyable.

There are a lot of companies that come to our college every year for placement drives like TCS, Infosys, HCL, Deloitte, Tata, and Byju's. The average package ranges from 4 LPA to 6 LPA. About 60-70% of the students get campus placement with an average salary.
Chandigarh University boasts an architecturally impressive campus, designed in a structure grid with a central open space. The buildings are modern and the environment is generally clean and well-kept. While athletic facilities are provided.
The University offers a wide spectrum of programs, and the MBA faculty is decently qualified. Scholarship and financial aid are available, the academic Curriculum is based on modern trend which helps to students effective learning.
When it comes placements, the scenerio is not promising as often portrayed. While there is a dedicated department, the actual job offers are limited and often not aligned with the skill set of management students.
Infrastructure and hostel facilities this college provides the best infrastructure and hostel facilities. the college is decent. The block which I am studying or my classes are going on is decent. Other blocks like D Block are good. The hostel is good and mess food is also good. threre are medical facilities, and canteens available in every block.
