Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Information Technology is a four-year full-time undergraduate Course offered by College of Engineering Roorkee, Roorkee recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University, Tehri.

Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech First-Year Admissions:

Who have passed an intermediate or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and those who have appeared in the JEE (Joint Entrance Examination). The admission will be done strictly on JEE merit.

B.Tech Lateral Entry:

Candidates who have qualified UKSEE examination on merit basis and have passed B.Sc. examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects and securing minimum 60% marks in Diploma in Engineering or Equivalent Examination, only are eligible for direct admission in the second year.

NRI/ Foreign National:
N.R.I. seats shall be filled up from the son/real brother/ real sister of such NRIs, who have passed the Intermediate or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics from an institute situated in India or abroad. The merit will be decided on the total marks obtained by them in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in the qualifying examination. All such candidates must submit a certificate from Indian Diplomatic Mission/ Chancellery/ High Commission along with their seal to the effect that the candidate or his/her father/mother/real brother/ real sister is a Non-Resident Indian

College Infrastructure

College Infrastructure was good but the classrooms can be better with all the facilities. Labs can have modern equipments & ample space for everyone can work & learn properly. Over all its good but can be well maintained.

College Infrastructure

Yes my college have necessary infrastructure, faculties and equipment example college have its own lab of every practical subjects and have particular block for every department. College have its own library and study centre.

Overall experience is good, but placements are worst.
