BTKIT Dwarahat Admission Process

Bipin Tripathi Kumaon Institute of Technology offers admissions to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral-level programmes. BTKIT admission process begins with the candidates meeting the eligibility criteria. BTKIT admission to the B.Tech programme is based on the scores of JEE Main.

According to the BTKIT admission process of the M.Tech programme, seats are allotted to the GATE-qualified candidates during the counselling on the basis of merit. Finally, candidates have to appear for an interview. BTKIT Dwarahat releases a cutoff after the declaration of the result.

BTKIT admission to the MCA programme is based on the merit scores of the UKSEE. Seats will be allotted during the counselling on the basis of merit. As per the BTKIT admission procedure for PhD programme, candidates have to appear for a written test. However, GATE/NET/GMAT/GPAT-qualified candidates are exempted from the test. After qualifying for the entrance test, candidates have to appear for an interview.

How to apply for BTKIT admissions 2025?

BTKIT Registrations 2025

The candidates have to register on the BTKIT Dwarahat website.
Next, the candidates have to fill out the BTKIT admission form with the necessary details.
Then, the candidates need to upload the documents specified by the college.
Submit the BTKIT Dwarahat application form by paying the BTKIT admission fees.

BTKIT Admissions 2025 for BTech Courses

B.Tech is a four-year full-time programme offered for BTKIT admissions to the undergraduate courses. The course is divided into 8 semesters and the duration of each semester is six months. The course is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

BTKIT BTech Admission Process

Candidates should meet the eligibility criteria before applying for BTKIT admissions.
After that, candidates have to appear for JEE Main, conducted by NTA to be eligible for BTKIT admission to the B.Tech course.
After the declaration of the result, the participating institutes will release the cutoff.
Next, fill out the BTKIT admission form for Uttarakhand B.Tech admission and enter JEE main scores and college preference.
A merit list will be prepared based on the scores of JEE Main.
Candidates whose names are on the merit list have to appear for online counselling, conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University.
Seats will be allotted based on merit.
Finally, selected candidates have to submit the documents and pay the BTKIT admission fees.

BTKIT Admissions 2025 for PG Courses

BTKIT admissions to the PG courses are offered to the M.Tech and MCA programmes for the duration of 2 years. The seat intake and eligibility criteria for BTKIT admissions are mentioned in the below table.

BTKIT MTech Admission Process

First, meet BTKIT admission eligibility criteria.
Appear for GATE and get qualifying marks before applying for BTKIT admissions.
Fill out the Uttarakhand Technical University Dehradun application form.
GATE-qualified candidates have to appear for counselling and give preference to Bipin Tripathi Kumaon Institute of Technology.
During BTKIT admission counselling, seats will be filled based on merit scores of GATE.
If sufficient GATE-qualified candidates are not available, then seats will be filled through the Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination (UKSEE).

I am a girl and belong to general category . my CRL is 312645 and I got 78.92 percentile in JEE Main 2024 . My domicile is of Uttarakhand . Can I get CSE in BTKIT dwarhat college ??

Chances for CSE Branch in Bipin Tripathi Kumaon Institute of Technology, Dwarahat will be tough. You can try for other branches in the same college as you do have a chance to get a seat in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, e.t.c. But for the same branch you can go for other colleges like: Birla Institute of Applied Sciences, Nainital , where you do have a chance to get a seat.
