• Qualify the eligibility criteria as defined by Panjab University for the B.Ed programme.

For Management Quota seats:

• Wait for announcements in newspapers regarding the commencement of applications for management quota seats.
• Download the prescribed application form from the college.
• Fill in all requisite information of the application form and attach all required documents.
• Submit the filled-up application form to the college within the deadline.
• Merit-based selection will be done for management quota cases. 
• Required Documents: Although general requirements for documents differ, the needed are usually the same.

Selection Process:

• For centralised counseling seats, selection will be based on the counseling process and merit list prepared by the affiliated universities.
• Selection will be purely on merit as determined by the administration of the college for management quota cases.

The B.Ed course at DAV College of Education is conducted full time for two years to a total of 100 eligible students. The entry procedure for this programme is as below:

• Centralised counseling: 87 of the total seats are taken up through centralised counseling facilitated by affiliated universities (Panjab University Chandigarh, Punjabi University Patiala, and Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar).
• Management quota: The remaining seats are filled under the management quota.

Eligibility criteria are as follows:

• Candidates must fulfill Panjab University's eligibility criteria for B.Ed.

Selection Process

• Selection will be done for centralised counselling seats as per the counselling process being conducted by the affiliated universities.
• Management quota seats will have merit-based allocation through advertisements in newspapers inviting applications from prospective students.
