Dayanand Girls PG College, Kanpur and has evolved into an eminent institution for women's higher education in Uttar Pradesh. Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed.: C.S.J.M. University, Kanpur is merit listing for admissions to B.Ed. programs in Dayanand Girls PG College. It is authorized to enroll a maximum of 100 students into the B.Ed. program.

BA: Admission for available BA programs is usually merit-based by qualifying examination (10+2); however, different subjects may have different admission criteria and specialize in their requirements.

B.Sc: Admissions for B.Sc programs are merit-based according to the 10+2 examination score in subjects pertaining to Science.

B.Lib.Sc: Admission to the Bachelor of Library Science course is done completely through merit in qualifying examinations.

MA: The college offers 15 specializations in its MA course, which include some of the subjects Drawing and Painting, English Literature, Economics, Geography, Hindi Literature, History, Music Vocal, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology. Generally, all admissions are based on the merit of the bachelor's degree in the related subject.

M.Sc: M.Sc has 5 specializations, namely Botany, Chemistry, Zoology, Biotechnology(Self-Finance), and Microbiology(Self-Finance). Admission for both types is based on merit of bachelor's degree in the respective science discipline. 

M.Lib.I.Sc: Admission in Master of Library and Information Science programme(Self Finance) is merit based on bachelor degree preferably in Library Science.

Ph.D.: The college has Phd programs in 15 disciplines, including Botany, Chemistry, Zoology, English Literature, Hindi Literature, Sanskrit, Political Science, Economics, Sociology, History, Psychology, Geography, Music Vocal, Drawing and Painting, and Music Instrumental. Normally, admission in Ph.D. programs is on the merit of a written test and/or performance in an interview by a candidate as per university guidelines.
