    It is a good college.

    College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is really good, it is a pretty big building, it has a really good library with wifi where you can sit and read for however long you want to. The toilets are pretty clean. The labs are also good. The environment around the college is very peaceful. There is quite a lot of greenery around. The place is maintained well by the administration.

    Academics

I am studying B Tech in Computer Science engineering in this college. Some teachers teach really well while some teachers could improve their teaching techniques, most teachers hold doctorates so they are qualified for their jobs. The curriculum is updated and rigorous. There are a number of talks conducted on new developments in different fields. There can be some improvements in the teaching methodology in general but overall, it is average.

    Placements

Based on placement reports, the highest CTC was 31L but the average CTC was around 4L. More than 80 percent of the batch was placed. The placements have gone down during the pandemic. CS and ECE students can get placements more easily when compared to mechanical students. A lot of mechanical students did struggle to get placed, some of them ended up taking IT jobs. You need to work hard to get good placements, if you try, you can get them.

    Value for Money

If you get in through CET, it is a value for money deal because there is a good ROI. You get enough facilities and amenities for the money you spent. If you get admission through other ways, then the ROI is not as high but it is surely is worth it as you can get jobs that pay back the money you spend on the degree but it would take a longer time.

    Campus Life

The students are good, I've found some really nice friends in this college. The campus is also good. But campus life is not always fulfilling, we hardly got to play sports or participate in cultural activities. The college is more focused on academics than other activities. We do, however, get to participate in some contests occasionally and they are organized pretty well.

    Others

This college, like every other college, has its pros and cons. Your experience can be good, based on how you take in information and how much work you put in to make it better. All in all, it is a decent college where you can a decent degree.

Have a question related to DSATM Bangalore ?

I got 40669 rank in kcet ,will I get a seat in dsatm (Kanakapura road) for ai and ml and I am obc

Yes, with a KCET rank of 40669 and OBC category, you have a good chance of getting a seat in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology and Management DSATM Kanakapura Road. In previous years, the cutoff for AI and ML in OBC category was higher than your rank. Make sure to attend document verification and list DSATM high in your choice filling.

ISE at Dayananda sagar academy of technology and management or CSE at Cambridge institute of technology which is better?

    Hello,

When deciding between Information Science and Engineering (ISE) at Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology and Management (DSATM) and Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Cambridge Institute of Technology, several factors need to be considered:

    1. Reputation and Ranking :

    • Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology and Management (DSATM) : It is part of the well-known Dayananda Sagar Institutions, which has a good reputation in Karnataka. The ISE department is known for its quality education and infrastructure.
    • Cambridge Institute of Technology : CSE at Cambridge Institute of Technology is also a well-regarded program, particularly in Bangalore. The institute has a good track record for placements in the IT sector.

    2. Placements :

    • DSATM : The ISE department at DSATM offers decent placement opportunities, with many students getting placed in top IT companies. The average salary package is comparable to that of CSE graduates.
    • Cambridge Institute of Technology : The CSE department has strong placement support, with many top tech companies visiting the campus for recruitment. CSE graduates generally have better placement opportunities compared to ISE, given the demand for CSE professionals.

    3. Curriculum and Industry Relevance :

    • ISE at DSATM : The curriculum is slightly more focused on information systems, databases, and software engineering, which is also quite relevant to the current job market, especially for roles in data management and IT infrastructure.
    • CSE at Cambridge : CSE tends to have a broader and more comprehensive curriculum covering software development, algorithms, computer networks, and more, which is highly valued by tech companies.

    4. Faculty and Infrastructure :

    • DSATM : Known for its well-qualified faculty and modern infrastructure, including labs and research facilities.
    • Cambridge Institute of Technology : Also has good infrastructure with a focus on practical learning and projects. The faculty is experienced, especially in the CSE department.

    5. Location and Connectivity :

    • Both institutes are located in Bangalore, which is a hub for IT companies, providing good exposure and internship opportunities.

    Conclusion :

    • If you are more interested in a specialized role in information systems, networks, or databases, ISE at DSATM might be the better choice.
    • If you are looking for broader opportunities in the software and IT sector, CSE at Cambridge Institute of Technology might be preferable due to the higher demand for CSE graduates and potentially better placement prospects.

Ultimately, the decision should be based on your specific interests, career goals, and the environment you feel will best support your learning and professional growth.

    Hope it helps !

which one of these is better for admission through comedk dsatm - info sci cambridge i.t - cse dr ambedkar info sci acharya i.t - cse

    Hello there,

When choosing between these options for a B.Tech program, consider the following factors:

    1. Reputation and Ranking : Check the college rankings and reputation for the respective branches (Information Science or Computer Science).

    2. Faculty and Infrastructure : Research the quality of faculty and infrastructure available in each college. This can significantly impact your learning experience.

    3. Placement Opportunities : Look into the placement records and the types of companies that visit the campus for each college. Strong placement support is crucial for career growth.

    4. Course Curriculum : Compare the course curriculum and any additional certifications or training offered by each college.

    5. Campus Life and Extracurriculars : Consider the overall campus environment and opportunities for extracurricular activities, which can enhance your college experience.

    Based on these factors:

    • DSATM (Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology) is generally well-regarded for its engineering programs and has a good reputation for its placements.

    • Cambridge Institute of Technology is known for its focus on practical learning and industry connections, especially in IT-related fields.

    • Acharya Institute of Technology also has a solid reputation with good infrastructure and placement opportunities.

If you prioritize a strong reputation and robust placement support, DSATM and Acharya might be preferable. If you are looking for a focus on practical learning and industry connections, Cambridge could be a good choice.
