Degree wise Admission Process
BA: 320 students is the intake capacity of Defence Degree College under the Bachelor of Arts (BA) program. For BA, the admission procedure is made based on merit through the qualifying examination (10+2). Higher secondary education completion entitles students of any stream to apply under this program.
B.Com: The Bachelor of Commerce program has a sanctioned intake of 80 students at Defence Degree College. Admission into B.Com is generally merit-based on the 10+2 examination but preference is given to those students who have had Commerce or similar subjects in their higher secondary school studies.
B.Sc: The college has two Bachelor of Science degree programs, which are B.Sc (General) and B.Sc Non-Medical, with an approved intake of 80 students each. For B.Sc (General), students from any science stream in 10+2 are eligible to apply. For B.Sc Non-Medical, preference is given to students who have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in their higher secondary education.
MA Programs: Defence Degree College offers Master of Arts (MA) programs in Hindi, English, Political Science, and History. Each of the MA programs generally has an approved intake of 60 students. Admission into MA programs usually depends on the merit of the qualifying bachelor's degree in the respective subject or related field.
M.Sc Geography: The college also has a program of Master of Science (M.Sc) in Geography with an approved intake of 40 students. Admission into this program is generally granted based on the merit of the qualifying bachelor's degree in Geography or a related subject.
