Divya Kripal Degree College, Hardoi and is a reputed college affiliated with the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college offers various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in disciplines such as Arts, Science, Commerce, and Education, among others. For admission into most undergraduate courses, the merit rating of the qualifying exam-an examination important in determining merit of the candidate-will be used to make admission decisions; by that, student performance in their 10+2 or equivalent examination will be critical in determining grades among finalists to gain entry into the college.

Specific Programs, such as B.Ed. or D.El.Ed, are considered to have stricter processes for admission. Apart from their eligibility for admission into these programs, other qualifying tests will probably be required from candidates by the institution and the affiliated university. On the final choice of a candidate for these programs, consideration will be based on various aspects: the qualifying examination score and the entrance test marks. The academic calendar is followed by the college as per the rules of the affiliating university. Generally, admission would begin a few months earlier than the actual start of the academic calendar during every year.
