Placements : Placements at Dr B.C. Roy Engineering College are quite well. More than 40% of the total students in a course get placed. Many companies like Accenza, TCS, Cognizant, and a lot more visit the campus for placements. Students are generally offered a salary package of Rs.10,000-30,000 per month which is quite well for freshers. Yes, definitely you can add 'Dr' as a prefix. People holding BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BSMS, BYNS, MBBS degree can add 'Dr' to their prefix of there name as this is declared by the Health Minister informs Parliament.

In DR.BC ROY ENGINEERING COLLEGE,the infrastructure is quite good .The teaching quality is average and the placements are not quite good ,however the training and placement cell manages to bring a couple of companies which are mostly non reputed ,some new startups for placement of their students.Also the location of the college is quite odd and isolated .Also the wbjee cutoff of this college is way higher so the peer group you will be sharing will not be good enough,also the labs are facing shortage of technical equipments the management being so inefficient..

Well for you to get a seat in Dr. Harvansh Singh Dentla college might not be possible becuase the cut off goes very high firbthe college and getting a seat is difficult, let alone be for general category students.

This year also cut off will be expected to stay at the same peak.
