Hi there
Vidya Vikas Institute of Engineering and Technology - VVIET Mysore is better.
Placements in the institute are excellent. Students get many good MNCs for placements. This year, the best salary package offered till now is 4 LPA for a computer science department student. Moreover, they have many budding entrepreneurs and established startups. They have regular placement training in both programming and aptitude. They have skill development programmes, industry-institute interaction centre, and faculty with industry background. They have tie-ups with many companies. Google company has its only student representatives in this college for the region.
The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled along with good bandwidth, and it is helpful for many projects works. They have 3 seminar halls, an excellent auditorium which is hi-tech and has a seating capacity of more than 450 people. This facility will not be available anywhere in the city. Teachers carry laptops to classrooms and teach using projectors which is very helpful.
They have excellent and student-friendly faculty members. Many of the faculty members are PhD holders. Especially CSE and ISE faculty members are good and the best in the college. The faculty to student ratio is 1:15 which is good. They have teachers who worked in good positions in various industries and consultancies. They follow the best practices which give students the best exposure.
They had Google MDF programme recently which was a highly successful event. They have many speakers from good companies like Oracle. Students get encouragement for all activities.
Hope this helps. Good luck!
Hi Gaurav,
Your question is not clear. Please clarify what you want to know exactly about Dr. Dy Patil institute.
Hope this helps. All the Best...
Dear Ayush,
Well,I am having my close friends studying in both these colleges and i know much about these colleges and i hope i will be able to provide you with a satisfactory answer to your question.
Asansol engineering college is located in the heart of the city asansol near jubliee petrol pump. The infrastructure is pretty decent just like most of the private colleges. The level of teaching is satisfactory but at the end of the day the students have to study on their own.The placement cell is active there and students from cs/it/ece backgrounds get placed in It companies which are mostly mass recruiters(TCS,IBM etc.).The classrooms ,labs are equiped with all modern facilities and you won't get disappointed with the technical facilities provided there.
Coming to DR.BC ROY ENGINEERING COLLEGE,the infrastructure is quite good even better than AEC.The teaching quality is average and the placements are not quite good ,however the training and placement cell manages to bring a couple of companies which are mostly non reputed ,some new startups for placement of their students. Also the location of the college is quite odd and isolated .Also the wbjee cutoff of this college is way higher so the peer group you will be sharing will not be good enough, also the labs are facing shortage of technical equipments the management being so inefficient.
Conclusion: According to my opinion Asansol engineering college is way better than Dr. B.C Roy Engineering College. Also the former is ranked higher than the later by many reputed magazines and govt of India.
Hence Asansol Engineering College wins hands down.
Hope I have made my self clear
Best Wishes!

Hello Tarun,
The Dr DY Patil College of Engineering,Akurdi is better than Dr DY Patil college of engineering, ambi.
the reason for this are many dy patil akurdi is accrediated by NAAC with A grade.
also the placements and infrastructure and facilities for students is better in DY PATIL,Akurdi as compared to DY PATIL,Ambi.
If we talk about DY PATIL,Ambi then this is also a well known college and also has a rating of 3 out of 5 and the placement in this college for cs branch is more than 70+%.
the college is also very good in Infrastructure and campus life is also good.
