The college provides GNM and ANM courses.
The GNM programme is a three-year course that is provided by the Dr BR Ambedkar School of Nursing to impart complete nursing education. Its intake is approved for 40 students every year and is quite popular. Entry into GNM courses depends on the academic performance of the candidate regarding nursing subjects, performance in an entrance exam, if any, and a personal interview for assessing the candidate's aptitude for nursing. This course aims to impart the skills, knowledge, and competence to practice and function as effective nursing professionals.
The ANM programme is conducted for two years with an intake capacity of 30 students annually. This course is for the interested candidates who want to contribute to the nursing profession at the auxiliary level. Dr BR Ambedkar School of Nursing admission requirements for the ANM programme also have the academic record of the candidate, performance in entrance tests (if conducted), and a personal interview among them. The course shall provide a solid base in nursing and midwifery skills to enable students to take on essential roles in health care settings.
