Big classroms .The area of college was the largest among all the colleges of Delhi university. It had enough labs , library was also good . But no smart boards. Traditional infrastructure . Overall good experience.
Teachers mostly skipped classes. They didn't teach us well. Some teachers explained the topic in depth but some always skipped classes and they were not even worried about our exams. They never used smart boards.
Many sturents got placement in big4s . So , according to placement , Dyal singh college is best. My friend is in KPMG . She got placement through placement cell of Dyal singh college. Her package was 3,60,000p.a.
Fees was good.my fees for bcom was around 12000 per year . So it was not costly .
Teachers was very supportive.
Very nice college and infrastructure building are so good good environment and space there are many facilities like waterplant library and playground and all overall a good campus and environment i will highly recommend
Very good academic and knowledge of the teaching faculty is so best They provide practical as well as theoretical knowledge to the students very helpful and support Proper lecture are taken and academic is good
Placement cell is too good they offer placement to all the students maximum gets placed and there are many companies visiting campus overall a good experience for career growth and overall Development
Yes sure
Yes very much
Very good
The infrastructure of the college is simple and functional. The classrooms are large but non-air-conditioned, and barely any of them have projectors. The college library is the hub of resources for the students and has a decent number of books, but digital resources are lacking.
Dayal Singh College is one of those good ones when it comes to teachers. Teachers are experienced, well-trained, and accessible. They provide real-life examples to understand concepts better and engage students in the classroom. The course curriculum is partly relevant but needs to be made more regular to incorporate the changing demands of the industry.
Dayal Singh College B.Com placements are very typical. Last year, 60% of students received placements, and all of them received placements in small or local firms. The highest offer is around ₹4 LPA, and the average offer is around ₹2–2.5 LPA. The lowest offers are around ₹1.2 LPA.
Dyal singh college is average and classrooms are good and well maintained library labs canteen are also good the college has different blocks including the main building block and evening block there are two libraries in this college
Dyal singh college university of delhi offers courses like ba bsc bcom msc with the stream of humanities and social sciences etc this college faculty here is knowledgeable and assistant classes are held regularly curriculum is also updated
Placements are limited for students who doing the ba program some companies offers internship but high paying job opportunities are rare many students say that is doesn't have good placements in this college
The value of the money is food and effective the college gives all the requirements that the students wants. So the value of the money is decent being Delhi university college the fees are very cheap
The life of the campus is alive there is many societies and for the music, dance, drama and debate. College celebrations and cultural programs are also organised in this college this college is the good cafeteria also
The college is good who has the low budget value
Infrastructure of our college is pretty nice, campus is so big with big classrooms, amphitheatre and labs and it is one of the best college in south campus plus it has big NCC ground.wifi connectivity is also available in campus
Faculty here is knowledgeable and assistant, classes held regularly curriculum is also updated, teachers helps students with their problems plus our college holds good position in nirf ranking ,main focus of professors is on skill development and overall atmosphere is good
Placement in our college is average, mostly students got placed in bcom hons/bcom and economics hons course our college has dedicated placement cell that organise recruitment drives, workshops and seminars which helps students to get secure placements
Being a govt college, the fees criteria here is so cheap and it's worth it to spend that much amount of money as college gives all the requirements that students wants
Campus Life here is alive ,there are so many societies which keeps students busy and engaging and makes their life exciting, the crowd here is friendly plus there are so many chilling spots where you can enjoy with your friends
Buildings and athletics areas are well developed with large spaces but technology is lacking. College campus is well cleaned and maintained and also there are seperate halls for every department required.
The academics level are sub par with the overall quality in every other Delhi university colleges and to be honest it is not soo tough to crack and all the exams can be tackled easily with only a month of preparation.
Dyal singh college has been on top20 NIRF rankings from past 3 years so every reputed company visit college each year and there is also an dedicated placement cell that guides students and help them in getting placed.
Well my every year college fees is roughly around 15k so there should not be any doubt regarding whether it is value for money or not.. for 15 k per anumn a college is providing an well reputed degree from delhi university.
Overall the campus is a peaceful place with an well established infra and friendly staff from gate guards upto the principal himself which contributes to an overall best experience and an unforgettable college life.
The new building are good, but old buildings are bad, electricity comes regularly but switches are broken, it has a good crowd, it has good NCC ground and auditorium is not very big and teachers here are decent
Faculty is decent, but the crowd is diverse, classes held regularly and teacher are good, but some of the departmental clases does not held regularly, attendance is not compulsary that is good for some people.
Placements are decent here but very few of the people get it, interships comes regularly and stipend that they provide is also good, but for my course english hons there are very few job opportunities.
The college has a well -maintained complex with modern classes, a good library and computer labs. The auditorium and seminar halls are huge. However, some areas may require improvement in case of hygiene and seating arrangements.
Faculty is knowledgeable and assistant. The course is well structured, and classes are held regularly. However, some students feel that more practical risk is required.teachers are very helpful and supportive and encourage interactive learning, but the quality of teaching may vary from the subject to the subject.
Placements are limited for students of BA program. Some companies offer internships, but high-paying job opportunities are rare. Most students go for further studies or prepare for government examinations.
Being Delhi University College, the fees are very cheap, and the quality of education is good. This is a great option for students in search of a budget -friendly yet reputed college.
The life of the campus is alive! There are many societies for music, dance, drama and debate. College celebrations and cultural programs make student life exciting. The crowd is friendly, and the environment is energetic.
Dayal Singh College is a great option for students of BA Program who is looking for an affordable, academic and socially attractive college experience. Placement may not be the best, but for this, campus life and faculty support makeup.
2nd biggest college campus in delhi university, biggest NCC ground among Delhi University, but classes ate only average as compared to north campus delhi university colleges and sports infrastructure is not very good
Academics are decent here, classes held regularly but teaching of technical courses like bsc(H) is not up-to the par, but fees structure is very good if you want to do your under graduation in the minimum amount then it's the best choice for you.
Many students say that it doesn't have good placements, I would say you if you look correctly, it has will give you some decent placement offers like the max placement offer would give you here 6 LPA in your under graduation year.
Dyal Singh College boasts a spacious and green campus in South Delhi, providing an excellent environment for learning. It has well-equipped laboratories, a well-stocked library, and classrooms. However, some areas like canteen facilities and sports infrastructure could benefit from upgrades.
The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Arts, Science, and Commerce, with well-qualified faculty members who are committed to student success. The curriculum is robust and updated, encouraging students to develop critical thinking and practical skills.
The placement cell of Dyal Singh College works proactively to bring reputed companies for campus recruitment. While the placement rates are decent, especially for Commerce and Science streams, there is scope for improvement in terms of package offerings and opportunities for Arts students.
