Counseling is a very important stage in an admission process of any institute. As yiu have not appeared for the counseling, so I don't think so that admission of your daughter is possible. 

But you can always try for good. I will advise you to get in contact with the admission department and find out, are there any seats left, if yes then ask them if they can consider your daughter for admissions. 

I will advise you to get in touch with them as soon as possible.

coming to the placements, GITAM University Vizag has pretty good placements for CSC and IT people. The 2016–17 year, the University was able to bring good companies like Microsoft (selected 14 people for 14L package). Though Amazon came with a huge package of 18L, it selected no one.

Yes you can prefer ECE branch or virag branch as these are really good however as per the previous years cut offs your chances are quite low for the selection .

You must have minimum 60% in your 10+2. Generally the cut off rank for GITAM is around 25,000 through GITAM Admission Test.If your rank is this then you can get gitam vizag for ece branch.
