My college has one of the best infrastructures in whole Delhi University. It has an arch with its name on it which makes it the most unique one in whole DU. My college has decent canteen and a big playground.
My college provide the topmost quality of education by following the latest syllabus prescribed by NEP and by mainly focusing on the practical aspects of the subjects. The professors are also very talented and well experienced in their respective subjects.
The placement cell in my college is decent and they have good connection with big companies, but the only defect is that they can only provide placement of Commerce department but rarely to any other departments. the average package range between 6-8 LPA.
It is a good college and can be considered.
The campus life is great.
My college has a great infrastructure and beautiful three buildings of Arts, Commerce, Science Departments respectively. It has a two-storey auditorium. We also have a canteen and Nescafe in our campus.
We have the best professors as compared to other colleges. Our college has always been known for their quality of education and faculty in whole Delhi University. They follow the latest syllabus as prescribed by the NEP.
The placement cell of my college has great connections with big companies like KPMG, PWC, Deloitte, TCS, Amazon etc. But the only disadvantage is that most of the placement offers are for commerce department only.
It is value for money.
We have a great campus life.
My college is beautiful with big building in classic red colour of Delhi University . The college is surrounded with greenery all around with a big playground and basketball court. It has a two storey well furnished auditorium.
The academics provided in my college is of very good quality with professors who are full of knowledge and experienced in their field. The students in my college are very punctual and serious towards their study . Overall there is a good environment that encourages you to work hard and study well.
The placement cell of Gargi college is well connected to outside world which helps the students to find good jobs at the end of their course. Big companies like KPMG, PWC, TCS, Amazon etc provide offers to students. The highest package offered in the year 2023 was 21 LPA.
The college is good and value for money.
The campus life is okay just that it is a girls college otherwise it would have been much more fun.
The college has beautiful building in the classic red colour of Delhi University with beautiful garden and greenery all around. My college has a huge auditorium and two storey library with a wonderful canteen and nescafe in the campus. The only default in the college is that it is bit small and located far from other south campus college except KNC.
Academics provided in my college is of top notch quality and all the syllabus is upto date and it follows the NEP syllabus . The professors of my college are very talented and well experienced in their respective field.
The placement cell of my college is average as compared to other colleges . It provide decent placement offers to Commerce Students mainly with companies like KPMG , PWC etc giving the offers. I guess the placement cell has more to offer and the average package range between 6-7 LPA.
It is value for money .
The campus life is okay as it is completely a girls college that makes it less fun and interesting.
Yes,Our college have all nenecessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment and classrooms equipped with projectors for presentations and lectures. The college has a canteen that aims to provide hygienic and affordable food, often offering a good variety of snacks and meals for students during college hours.
A B.Com degree at Gargi College focuses on commerce, accounting, finance, and management principles.Gargi College’s reputation for academic and its supportive environment make it an appealing choice for commerce studies.
Gargi College generally has a good placement record, especially for commerce and economics students. The college has a placement cell that works to connect students with reputable companies.Gargi College have been in the range of 7-10lakhs per annum (LPA), though this can change depending on market conditions and students performance.
The annual fees for a B.Com program at Gargi College are usually around INR 16,000 to 19,000, making it one of the more affordable options in higher education.Yes, Gargi College provides excellent value for the cost. With experienced faculty, a well-recognized curriculum, and good placement opportunities, typically I feel I am getting my money’s worth.
well-organized campus with modern buildings, green spaces, and clean facilities. Some of the best features include its library, auditorium, and computer labs, all of which are well-maintained and useful for academic work. The canteen is popular with students for its affordable and diverse food options.
No
The college has a decent campus with an auditorium , two storey library and a basketball court. It's just too small for a college to be . Even the college is located in a posh locality with metro station just a walking distance.
Talking about my course B.Com it has one of the best professor of Delhi University who has vast knowledge and experience in their respective field. Overall the academics of this college is worth studying.
Gargi College is among the top colleges of Delhi University which provides one of the best intership and placement opportunities to its student in companies like Deloitte , EY , KPMG , PwC , Amazon etc.
Overall its a good college to study in and spend your 3 years.
4 stars just for being a girls college.
Talking about my experience its quite good with wonderful professor and great friend .
Back then when we were graduating the college was undergoing construction so maybe the state of infrastructure has improved in the new building otherwise it was ok and not very good because usually even when the students were only half present the classes would become full, fans wouldn't work much and dangerously hang over from the ceiling, also every class didn't even have basics like chalk and duster.Washrooms are ok. Digitalization is much needed, and one would face helpless network issues. Auditorium is amazing perhaps the best in DU. Doesn't have a hostel therefore we're given as a bait to pg owners charging insane rent. Library too is ok. The campus is usually clean and doesn't have much hygiene issues. They claim they are differently abled friendly although I'm not very sure, more needs to be done. Overall if not excellent has an adjustable infra.
Honestly I yearned for learning more and the history department did to an extent give me a direction and helped in my growth but the political science department except for a few professors was completely careless. Finishing the syllabus on time was just not their business. Political discussions in political science department is imperative but could have been better if they also included policy decisions, the debates would be only around state of politics in the country so while you would enjoy discussing and develop new perspective many a times it would lead to fights, can't help ! The curriculum must be updated it didn't make us job ready. There aren't many field visits and the emphasis on research is negligible.
I've heard and actually seen the placement cell of the college is quite active and girls fetch good placements Also they do bring a good many internships and NGOs to take you onboard and get new skills.
Yes it is worth the college fees although given your lodging is expensive you would expect a bit more .
Campus life is good, it's a vibrant campus with some or the other activity taking place every other day, departments and societies are overall active and you would enjoy the growth if not academics. But inspite of being a feminist institution sometimes it hesitates fighting for the very cause that it was set up, you very well know about the fests. Having not seen a fest offline at Gargi it would be thumbs down for the administration that couldn't conduct it in full bloom. Overall it's good not excellent.
I genuinely liked the administration, I didn't have to face issues with them.As you would see everywhere there is a bit of elitism but if you're ok to work hard and make your own way you can consider the college. Besides it's a very safe space and you would love the open spaces in the campus, it is those spaces and endless talks with your peers that would become a part of your memory.
My College is good at infrastructure, and equipments but yes facilities are little less but the faculty are trying to provide more facilities to the students. We don't have Air conditioners in our classrooms, Library is good, don't have internet connection. Living space is clean, for food i haven't taste it yet.
Academics are good. Professors are so much understanding and patiently handle students. Enjoy with students and teach very well. They are more like friends, students can share personal problems too they are ready to listen patiently.
Going through placements and it's good. The companies are coming for drive are so reputed and offering great profile for job to students and the package and other benefits they are offering are also good.
Great.
It's good.
I really thought I'm lucky to get admission to this college as it's one of the best colleges of DU and the infrastructure and management is quite well, but I felt the administration of my college is not so active because every time I've to go to admin office for some work just have to go again and again to settle that work.
Teachers are very supportive and the management is quite good we just enjoy the way our teacher teaches in the the classrooms and being there is quite fun, they understand the student's point of view and the situation and co-operate with them unless and until you don't have any valid excuse.
Placement cell is very active in my college and every year there are a number of students who get placed in the top companies of India. That's a really big advantage of being in this college as u got placed in a really good company if perform well.
Campus life may be exciting for other but for me it's boring as I barely ho to college and don't have too close friends of mine.
Gargi offers good infrastructure with well maintained classrooms. Laboratories are upto date. While there are no on campus hostels, the campus is generally clean and the canteen provides hygienic food options. Overall, the facilities support a conducive learning environment.
I studied B.com. The course teaching quality was high and updated. It provides a strong foundation in theory while also focusing in practical skills, making graduates well prepared for the job market.
The college has a decent placement record. The placement rate varies but typically around 60 to 70% of students get placed the highest salary packages, usually go up to 12 to 15 LPA and the average salary over around 4 to 6 LPA.
The BCom course at Gorry College is quite affordable typically costing around 10,000 to 12,000 per year, given the quality of Education and faculty. It definitely feels like good value for money. The college offers a solid return on investment, specially with the strong foundation it builds for future career opportunities.
The campus life was good and lively. It was definitely a secure campus and safe as the college was only women’s.
Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College, New Delhi, will be the best option among the Gargi, ARSD, and Khalsa College if the distance is not the parameter.
SGTB Khalsa College is the oldest college with the best infrastructure and phenomenal teaching faculty. Every facility is available in this college.
For Maths Hons, I suggest you prefer SGTB Khalsa over other colleges; else, ARSD is not a bad option.
