College infrastructure is very poor and a lot of work is required to bring it up-to the mark with no internet networks, small classrooms and also very dirty and unhygienic washrooms. The food is hygienic
My course is history honours and I am pursuing this because of self interest but I have no motive of carry forward this after graduation as I have different plans. The teaching is average and can be improved
I am still a first year student so I don't have idea about placements and what I heard from a few seniors is that the colleges itself don't provide placements however there are opportunities for internships
College infrastructure is poor because of economical fees. The fee for my course is 12k approx per year and I feel keeping in mind the low fees, there is quite a proper value for money in this college
The campus life for students who want to engage in extracurricular is bright as they have some support from teachers as well. Students can engage in sports and other society activities. But college still doesn't have adequate security
The college should have a little more strict security and organized fests keeping the capacity and safety of students in mind. Academics should be given a little more importance and teachers and staff should be a little less negligent
Yes,Our college have all the necessary infrastructure and also a good wifi connection.Classrooms and library are well maintained. The living spaces are very clean and food is really prepared and served with hygiene.
I'm a BA History Hons student and I chose History because I have interest in studying about past and it makes me so impressed when I get to know so many things related to our past. Well regarding the curriculum I think it's updated and include all the recent developments. Yes I believe it's making me job ready.
I dont have much information regarding this but yes we do get many messages related to placement on our WhatsApp class group and I think many students go for it and they might find it easy and reliable
Annually my course costs me around 12- 13 thousand and yes it's worth because I get to know so many things while our professors teach us many new things which are interesting and as well as important for us to know.
Our college campus is really good and if i describe its best and worst features then i would say the best feature is the greenery all around the campus which makes me feel so relaxed and fresh and regarding the worst feature i think i can't describe it because I've never came across anything worst.studensts may engage in many activities including sports,Art and literature, dance and many more.Regarding staff its friendly and our location is also good and ofcourse safe and it can handle emergency
No
The infrastructure of my college is really good and attractive. I believe that infrastructure of any institution is really an important part because it is the place where we go to study, work etc. and while joining any institution we keep in mind that the environment in which we are going to study or work should be able to give us the positive energy. I enjoy being at my college because it has greenery and the library is well organised. The ground is huge and the classrooms are well maintained.
The course I am doing is BA (hons) history. I always had interest in history and i wanted to continue studying it. The teachers of history department are very helpful and supportive. The teachers teach really well and detailed notes are given to all the students. The teachers make sure that the syllabus is completed on time and they make sure to clear all the doubts that students have. They provide us with sample question papers and also regular assignments are given .
So being a student of first year I really don't have much knowledge regarding the placements. But yes our college has a placement society and messages regarding placements are always shared on the class group and many students do participate in it. I have never been a part of any placement so i can't give the actual condition of placements .
My course costs around 13,000 per year. So which means about 1,000 per month and I think that it is worth it. We are getting quality education and also the college provides us with other opportunities which are really beneficial. We also get a platform to express . Also the college is really well maintained.
The college campus at the starting was really confusing but eventually it became really easy. Our college has 3 different sections, one for science, one for commerce and one for humanities. There are two gardens and students have access to them . The canteen is well maintained . Sometimes the washrooms are not clean and accessing to some washrooms from certain floors is not easy because they are really far. The college is safe and no one gets entry without showing the I'd card at the entrygate.
The college is safe, I had no problems regarding the safety but at the time of our college fest many girls had some safety issues. This was because boys were also allowed in the fest and there was a lot of crowd and no proper measures were taken to manage the crowd , no proper checking was done on the gates and many people entered without the passes and then some boys misbehaved. This matter was taken to the college authorities and they ensured all the students that this won't happen again.
College has the best infrastructure in Delhi University . Classroom has all the facilities like smart board and the college is quite well maintained and the food given to the students in canteen is very hygienic
Gargi has one of the best teaching faculty. Teachers are very friendly in nature and ever ready for helping the students. Curriculum don't need any development and yes this course makes me job ready for future
Placements are very high in this college and the college is very supportive in terms of Placements of students . Placement cell is quite active in this college . Moreover process is also very simple for the students .
Yes this college is value for money and my course only cost me 10000 per year which is quite nominal as compare to other colleges . I am getting my money worth in this college and i am happy to be a part of Gargi College
Campus life is very good and you will definitely fall in love with the campus . Teachers and staff of this college are very supportive and friendly to new students . Location wise i am a girl and i feel very safe in my college
College infrastructure is quite good . Classroom has all the necessary facilities and equipment's required for the students . College is quite well maintained . Canteen provide hygienic food to the students .
In terms of academics it is one of the best college of Delhi University. Quality of teaching is very good in this college . Curriculum wise no need of any development needed. Yes this course makes me job ready.
As it is one of the best college of Delhi University . Quality of placement is very good . Process is quite simple and easy for the students as i am a first year students so don't know much about placement .
My course cost me only ten thousand per year . I am very much satisfied with my college and i want to everyone to join this college . Yes i am getting my money worth in this college of Delhi University .
Campus life is quite amazing and the campus is very big. Students also engage in various activities. Teachers and college staff is quite friendly in this college . Location wise it is quite safe for the girls .
The college infrastructure overall is good and well maintained. Library is well equipmed with all the course related books and students can refer to them anytime. There is no hostel facility provided by the college. Ths canteen food is hygienic and you would have a variety of choices.
I studied Ba(hons) Business economics and found the course very much relevant as it involves both business and economics subjects and makes to industry ready. The faculty members are also very supportive and are well equipped with the subjects.
The placement cell of the college is very good and provides the students with ample ofjob opportunities. This year top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, Flipkart, Bain & co. , etc visited the campus and many students got placed. Many companies like Udyamgyan (a listing website)provided students with live project, internship opportunities which helped them grow professionally. The placement process was conducted smoothly with the help of the placement cell. The average salary offerred was 2-3LPA
The annual course fee is around ₹46, 000. The course fee is comparatively very high than other courses . The reason being the course is self-financed. The bbe department asks for an additional fee to be paid for different department activities, fests and workshops.
The campus has a positivity all around. There are a lot of societies both cultural and non-cultural which keeps students engaged. The location of the campus is very nice and metro connectivity and bus connectivity is very good. From the safety point of view the college does a great job.
The infrastructure is quite gud. College has all the basic facilities. The canteen is hygenic and provide good food . Equipments provided in the laboratories are good . The spaces are clean and hygenic . Washrooms need bit attention.
Academic curriculum is really good. I am studying applied psychology in gargi . Professors really teaches well , lectures are very productive . If student is not getting any topic they try to make it more simpler and make us understand in a very easy way .
In our course we don't get any placements after graduation most of the placements happens realted to commerce .. marketing .etc Placement cell is actively doing their job .. they keep us informing about job opportunities and internships .
Yes I think it's value for money ... Applied psychology course fee is 14000 included examination fee which is worth. Because college is helping us in improving our personalities . Every year they have college fest . Departmental fest . It's like our second home .
Campus have botanical garden which gives unique vibes. It's always energetic and happening . Gargi have big ground go there in free lectures chit chat there . Which make us really happy. Thank you gargi .
Our department of applied psychology has almost evrything we need, but the rest of the classes in the college need a lot of repairs, with some of the fans not working properly, the seats broken, the size of some classrooms being too small to accomodate everyone. Even the washrooms require maintenance, as most of the time they are dirty and the locks on the doors, the taps etc. Dont work.
The academics are good and cover most of the required things. We also have a lot of practicals as a part of our curriculum and these help in providing with a lot of practical knowledge about how to use the psychological principles we have learnt to real life and people. The class sessions are also very interactive with our teachers encouraging us to ask questions and actively participate in discussions.
The placement rate is also quiet good, maybe not the best but quiet good. Most of the students get placed in their respective stream's. We also have a placement cell on our campus, which releases placement informations and requirements for the students.
Our cost fee per year is around 12000-13000. With this amount, the kind of facilities, learning environment, exposure etc. that we are getting is quiet good. I can say i habe learnt a lot after coming here.
The best thing about our college is that there are a lot of places where we can sit and chill out with friends, or complete our assignments. We have a big ground, 1 botanical garden, canteen area, auditorium foyer, etc, where we can sit back and relax. The worst feature would have to be the washrooms with bad maintenance. Also the library does not have enough seating area, there are very few tables and chairs, and most of the fans dont work.
Well Gargi College have not really big infrastructure, It has not really good washroom, Some classroom are very small, where as others are good , we have lecture theatre also approximately having capacity of 50 to 60 students to sit. Projectors are not available at every classroom, only in Psychology, science and computer lab. Gargi College does not have good mobile network nor wifi connection work properly. The food and canteen is good.
I am studying Applied Psychology in Gargi , as it is the first college to introduce this course in University of Delhi, the professor are really good, give daily schedule lecture through slides conduct different seminar with different psychologist, have also mental health Initiative called "IZHAAR" Running and other teams such as creative team, Public Relations team. Course has updated curriculum, to make one job ready.
Well In our course we don't get placement, after graduation, most of the placement happens for the Commerce students, placement cell works actively keep.posting interships, job opportunity on class groups , conducts job related seminar.
The Course fee is 14000 which is feasible and worth as examination fee is also included, however we need to give department fund of Rs. 300 fo department activities and fest, department also plans for department trip odd mid semester break .
College has a botanical garden which is good, also has big ground, a large auditorium, seminar hall, also chairs near the student gates are available to sit, bus stand is just outside the main gate of college. Teachers and non teaching staff is also good, its nearSirifort auditorium metro station is green park. We even have medical staff people for emergency. The college has art squad where various recreational activities are done.
Gargi College has good societies especially dance society, its known for its societies at best.
Gargi college has a great canteen that attracts students from the nearby colleges as well. We have a good WiFi network throughout the college. The washrooms are clean. There are a number of fields, parks and open spaces for lounging in the sun.
The course curriculum is extensive and rich enough to induce an idea of understanding and curiosity among the young minds of this generation. There are quite a number of educational trips followed by seminars and workshops(organised by the college)that keep the students engaged and interested.
The placement and job opportunities are remarkable to say the least, especially when it comes to the department of commerce. Quite a number of famous companies turn up and based on the academic performance of the students, they select them for an interview session.
The fee structure is feasible for the annual fee is mere 8500 per year. For economically backward classes, there's a considerable compensation when it comes to the fee payment. Not only, students can also apply for scholarships.
There is a plethora of opportunities for students who want to take part in extracurricular activities, be it badminton, cricket, volleyball, football, etc. As for the labs, Gargi college is well equipped with three humongous computer labs. We also have chemistry, biology and physics labs.
There are quite a number of events celebrated in my college. In fact, Gargi's annual fest, Reverie, is considered to be one of the best fests of Delhi university
Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College, New Delhi, will be the best option among the Gargi, ARSD, and Khalsa College if the distance is not the parameter.
SGTB Khalsa College is the oldest college with the best infrastructure and phenomenal teaching faculty. Every facility is available in this college.
For Maths Hons, I suggest you prefer SGTB Khalsa over other colleges; else, ARSD is not a bad option.
