The infrastructure on campus is modern and well-developed. The classrooms are large, well-furnished, and provided with smart boards and projectors. The sports facility is very good and provides a large number of indoor and outdoor games. The hostel is average, having neat rooms and average maintenance, with average mess food and mostly the usual hostel food.
The professors are knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Most of them possess excellent academic credentials and industry experience, which contributes significantly to learning in the classroom. The course materials are aligned with the latest industry trends and feature presentations, projects, and case studies.
The highest international package given was about ₹96 LPA, and the maximum domestic package reached ₹56 LPA. The average package ranges from ₹6–7 LPA for managerial positions. Recruiters like Deloitte, HDFC Bank, Mahindra Group, and Zycus visit the campus on a regular basis for placements.
The college infrastructure is reasonable, but the experience at hostel is not so good. The food at hostel is repetitive and subpar. Other campus facilities such as a gym, library, play field, medical emergency facilities, and Wi-Fi access are present and operational. The hostel is small, and though it has basic amenities, warden behavior and hostel management could be better to provide a good student experience.
Some teachers are helpful and informative, the overall teaching style relies on theory, with minimum practical exposure. Nevertheless, the semester exams are not too tough, and students can definitely score a 7 CGPA or more by sheer preparation, even if a day prior to the exams.
The highest offer made was around 56 LPA, and the lowest was around 3.5 LPA. The majority of the students were placed in areas such as business analytics, sales, HR, and operations, with designations such as management trainee and business development executive being frequent.
The college offers all essential facilities, especially for hostel residents. The hostels are well-maintained with clean rooms, laundry services, and round-the-clock power backup. Other amenities including canteens, a medical room, sports grounds, and recreational facilities are found on the campus and complement a well-rounded student life.
Faculty of the MCA department are qualified, experienced, and cooperative. They prompt students to question and support them not only academically but also in professional advice. The pedagogy is primarily theoretical, but some teachers also emphasize practical implementation and practice coding. Semester exams are fairly challenging, and students need to obtain a minimum of 30% marks in every subject to pass.
The placement of MCA students ranges from 60% to 80% depending on the batch and overall student performance. The minimum offered package is somewhere around ₹3–4 LPA, standard for entry-level jobs, with the average reaching as high as ₹5–6 LPA. For star students, the top package reached a high of ₹12 LPA. These companies include Hexaware, Mphasis, Nagarro, and a few regional IT startups that visit regularly for hiring.
The classrooms are air-conditioned and have projectors. Computer labs are updated periodically with appropriate software and high-speed internet. The library is adequate, with a good technical book collection and e-resource access. Wi-Fi is provided throughout the campus, but at times, the speed is not consistent in certain areas.
The syllabus is in-line with industry practices, with focus on programming, data structures, and newer technologies. Though there is room for more hands-on training or industry-linked projects, the semester exams are manageable, and pass rates are good.
In the current batch, more than 90% of the students got placement offers. The highest package offered was approximately 15 LPA, and the average package was around 4.5–5 LPA. Though the majority are in software development, testing, and data support, a couple of students also receive chances in web development and system analysis. Tech Mahindra, NIIT Technologies, HCL, and Birlasoft are some of the frequent recruiters. The college also offers internship assistance, with stipends varying between ₹8,000 and ₹20,000 per month, based on the firm and profile
All the classrooms are air-conditioned, and the Wi-Fi facility has good coverage and speed across the academic blocks. The labs are well-maintained with recent systems and the required tools for programming and development activities. The library is clean, well-organized, and stocked with good MCA-related books. There's a well-kept functional canteen providing a wide range of meals.
The course is well organized and in line with the latest IT trends. The faculty also assists students with certifications and industry projects. Most of the professors are well experienced in academics as well as the industry, and they are always ready to assist students outside of lecture time.
Almost 85–90% of students of our course get placed. The highest salary package of the recent batch was approx. 18 LPA, and the average salary package is between 4 to 6 LPA. Major recruiters are Cognizant, Capgemini, Zensar Technologies, and Mindtree. A few students also got placed in startups with product-based positions.
The infrastructure of GITM was satisfactory at that time. Classrooms were well ventilated and large, and most of the labs were functional. The library was amongst the best places on campus with a satisfactory collection of management and general books. The hostel facilities were not satisfactory, particularly regarding maintenance and hygiene.
The majority of the teachers were from a strong industry background, which enhanced the classroom discussions. The curriculum was quite relevant, although some courses could have been more in line with contemporary industry trends. Semester exams were challenging, primarily because the question patterns were unpredictable.
During my time at GITM Gurgaon (MBA batch 2015–17), the placement rate was around 70% for our course. Most students were placed in mid-level companies, and a few got offers from bigger names. The highest package offered in our batch was around 12 LPA, while the lowest was about 2.5 LPA. The average package hovered around 4–5 LPA.
The infrastructure is good and functional, although not very extensive. The college is in a small campus, comprising of closely placed buildings, but facilities are sufficient for routine academic requirements. The classrooms are furnished with basic configurations at my time in 2016.
MBA department faculty are courteous and possess the qualifications needed to teach management courses. They are mostly approachable and have a well-disciplined class schedule. According to university norms, exams are held, and internal assessment is taken seriously. The curriculum is in standard formats, though, but it doesn't provide much in terms of innovation or industry exposure.
The average salary typically comes in the 3–4 LPA range, with only a handful of students being able to get higher salaries through off-campus placements or previous work experience. There is placement support available, but not very extensive or specialized for students of management, so effort individually matters a great deal in finding a good chance.
The campus facilities are good and well-kept. The college building has simple facilities such as elevators, drinking water, and air-conditioned classrooms, particularly for management courses. There are smart classes and computer labs, although all of them are not always in full working order or updated. The surroundings are clean and neat, and the students can find the facilities they require with a little effort. It's not opulent, but it meets the academic needs well.
The academic setup is quite typical of an MBA program. The professors are well qualified and possess satisfactory subject knowledge, although the quality of teaching differs from individual to individual. All the professors are accessible and keen on mentoring students for projects and assignments.
Although the college boasts of its good placement record, the truth is that students get placed mostly in mid-tier companies with modest packages. Top salary figures are touted, but those are exceptions and not norms. On an average, students can hope to get offers of 3 to 5 LPA based on their individual skill sets, internship, and specialisation.
GITM Gurgaon boasts a well-kept and spacious campus. The professors are kind and treat students with respect and care, going out of their way to assist them in projects and internships. Semester exams are held on. schedule.balanced mix of theoretical knowledge and practical exposure are ensured by teachers.

The facilities at GITM are good. We have 24x7 Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the campus, which is very useful for academic assignments and projects. The library is also well-stocked with a variety of books and study materials. Hostel facilities are good, and the quality of food is also good. Moreover, medical facilities are also available 24x7, which provides safety and security to the students.
The GITM staff is very supportive and experienced. Several of them have Ph.D.s and bring much industry experience to the class. The course is designed in such a manner that it teaches theoretical as well as practical concepts depending on current industry needs. Passing the exams is not very tough, but it depends on the seriousness with which one prepares.
The placement is moderate with 40–50% students getting placed during the placement season. The average package is 2–3 LPA and the maximum is up to 8 LPA and the minimum is around 1.5 LPA. Although there are placements, students are also encouraged to do internships or pursue higher studies for better career growth.
