IFIM Bangalore is an overall good b-school. Last year IFIM Business School witnessed more than 63 companies which participated in the recruitment process for the batch of PGDM 2015-17 where highest salary offered was Rs. 16 lakhs per annum, the average salary was Rs. 7,12,255 per annum and the median salary was Rs. 7,13,153 per annum.

TAPMI, Manipal offers a 2 year PGDM course at a total fee of Rs. 13 lakhs. According to last year placement report, 100% of the total batch was placed with an average salary of Rs. 10.06 lakhs per annum and maximum salary of Rs. 19.4 lakhs per annum

Goa Institute of Management offers a 2 year PGDM course at a total fee of Rs. 15.22 lakhs. According to last year placement report, 95.47% of the total batch was placed with an average salary of Rs. 9.3 lakhs per annum, the median salary of Rs. 9 lakhs per annum and maximum salary as Rs. 16.1 lakhs per annum.

Institute of Management, Nirma University, Gota, Ahmedabad offers a 2 year PGDM course for a total fee of Rs. 10.92 lakhs. According to last year placement report, the average salary offered was Rs. 7.7 lakhs per annum.

Bharathidasan Institute of Management, Tiruchirappalli offers a 2 year MBA course for a total fee of Rs. 10.84 lakhs. According to last year placement report, the average salary offered was Rs. 9.1 lakhs per annum, the minimum salary of Rs. 6 lakhs per annum and maximum salary as Rs. 14.00 lakhs per annum.

If you ask the order then it is TAPMI > GIM > BIM Trichy > IFIM > NIRMA.

Gitam School of Business accepts valid test scores in CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ GIM Online Test(GOT) / GMAT

Since you haven't appeared for CAT/XAT/MAT and Gitam's own entrance called GOT (held on April 22), you can try appearing for GMAT which is held throughout the year at various dates. ICET score is not accpeted for admission.

If you are calculating ROI, Industry connect & corporate faculty then IFMR is ahead of GIM.

Fees: GIM 15.1 Lacs and IFMR 12 Lacs.

Placement 2015-17 batch: GIM 9.3 Lacs, Highest 16 lacs & IFMR 9 Lacs, highest 18 lacs.

I believe that GIM you’re talking about is Goa Institute of Management. Both KJ Somaiya and GIM are well-established B-schools. To compare these two colleges, you can use “College Compare Tool" of Careers360. The tool will compare both the colleges on different parameters including rank, fee, placements, infrastructure etc. before providing the results.

In Careers360 ranking, KJ Somaiya has got AAA+ rating which means GOOD and GIM has got AAAA ratings which means VERY GOOD. In case GIM you’re talking about is GITAM Institute of Management, it has got an AAA+ rating. You can compare all the three colleges with the help of the tool.
