The infrastructure is well-equipped to cater to the needs of the students and faculty, ensuring a conducive learning environment. The campus is spacious, clean, and well-maintained, providing a pleasant atmosphere.
The faculty members are highly qualified, experienced, and approachable. They not only teach but also mentor and guide students, encouraging critical thinking and creativity. The use of modern teaching methods enhances the learning experience.
The placement opportunities provided by the college are decent but leave room for improvement. While a good number of companies visit the campus, there is a scope for improving the average packages overall.
You have a good chance of covering your ROI.
Campus life is good and lots to do for students.
The college's infrastructure is really good with wifi, well-equipped classrooms, labs, library, and sports grounds. The college lacks good hostels for girls though and it can improve on that. It can also improve on providing immediate medical facilities for its students.
I am currently pursuing PGDM at MDI, Gurgaon. The quality of teaching here is excellent. It updates its curriculum with new cases studies and classroom activities to make the learning more engaging. It makes the students corporate-ready through all its academic developments.
The quality of placements at MDI, Gurgaon are exceptional. They provide opportunities from top tier companies and the average package stands at 26 LPA here. The placement process is a little rigorous but the college provides all kinds of support.
MDI's PGDM program has a cost of about 24 lakhs in total for the 2 years. It does provide the money's worth as it builds the personality and provides good career prospects for students.
The campus life includes various club and committee events, sport events, celebrating all the festivals together as one community in the college. The location of the campus is really safe and it is near to markets as well.
None
The college infrastructure is good, it's iconic building is a treat to watch. Campus is surrounded by greenery for the morning and lights at night. Though recent construction has deteriorated a few aspects of it.
Professors are highly qualified and knowledgeable, and give regular quizzes and group presentation. Professors are also open to feedback and queries of students. Professors follow a rigorous evaluation process for marking.
MDI is known for its extensive alumni network which aids in achieving one of the best placements in the country. Most of the prominent marketing companies visit MDI for placements activities and corporate talks.
The fees on the higher side, and I believe a few things require improvement as expected on such a high fees. Still, it's a value for my money investment, as you get good ROI after your MBA, and a campus in the prime location of Gurgaon.
Campus life is one of the best as you get a lot of opportunities to network and participate in various cultural and sports event. There are many eateries as well both outside and inside campus accessible even late night. Location is the biggest advantage of MDI.
The college infrastructure is good, with a 36-acre campus in the middle of the millennium city of Gurugram. The college has all the amenities but is lacking a robust sporting infrastructure, which is due to the paucity of the space.
The academics are quite good. It has some of the best professors of the country who teach with the latest teaching pedagogy at par with the best institutions in the country. The academic system is quite flexible as well in terms of credit system and exchange students.
The placements are quite good at the college. The process is largely rolling, which lasts for more than a month and hosts multiple good companies for all the roles at the campus. For the statistics of the salaries offered, you can head over to the official website of the college for the report.
The course costs upwards of 25 lacs and not that cost-effective but with respect to the competitors, it can be considered decent.
The campus life is quite vibrant, with a whole host of activities conducted by students and for students.
The exchange programme of the college is also one of the best in the country, with several good partnerships with the colleges of Europe, which only IIM A,B and C are able to forge.
Best college infrastructure I have ever seen. It has everything a student requires on campus. The classes are highly functional and have all the latest technologies. The food outlests are open almost whole day.
Academic environment is robust, with qualified faculty and industry expertsand with latest industry related curriculums. Regular workshops, seminars and guest lectures enhanve lerning. However some of the courses need to get updated and align with the current requirements of the industry.
The placement cell is active with all the top companies visiting campus for recruitment. The college provides ample training and support for the placement activitiesand support for the interview preparation. While many students secure good offers, oppurtunities may vary depending upon the field of study.
The college offers a good return on investment, with reasonable fees compared to the facilities and education provided. However, students fromthe specific courses might find a cost bit too high for their courseif the placements in their domain is limited.
Camous life is vibrant with presence of almost all the students on the campus throughout the day and night. There are various clubs and committees which organises various events frequently and throughout the year. The campus is safe and friendly.
College is beautiful. it is very green. Though a lot of construction is going on yet it is still very pretty. Infrastructure is good too. some old hostels are bad but college is expanding rapidly and the new buildings are all fantastic.
It is one of the top 10 colleges in india and is renowned for its brand equity. Academics are average though. there are some legendary teachers but some are not so good. You study with few of the brightest minds in the nation and it is a great experience.
placements are good. MDI will take you places. The career trajectory is good, especially in marketing. Summer placements are the key to the marketing career. the culture is a bit problematic but overall you can make a good career.
It is value for money, you will get a good ROI. It is a brand in itself and is definitely worth going to. In the heart of Gurgaon, you get abundant exposure and opportunities through college and on your own.
Campus life is awesome. It is a scenic campus with a great culture. there are endless parties, great scope for academics, great exposure, awesome peers. You can get everything, ranging from intellectual stimulation to crazy parting,
It's a ride worth getting on.
Hostels and classrooms need much needed upgradation, but they get the job done and have all the necessary facilities you need while teaching a class. Thankfully construction is underway to provide better facilities, things should be better for upcoming batches. Libraries, sports centers are upto the mark. Food is good. The campus is very clean.
The faculty is experience and the college maintains a good faculty:students ratio. You get to work on some interesting projects. Curriculum is updated and some of the case based approaches prepare you well for the real world scenarios.
Placements are good, a lot of companies from different domains visit the campus and offer competitive salaries. A large part of the batch also gets placed through PPOs at reputed companies. You will get good opportunities and you will have to take them.
Just like any other MBA college, the fees is pretty high, but eventually you will land a decent job so in the end it will feel worth it. The things you experience during these two years, you will remember for a long time.
The campus life is really good, there are not many restrictions. You love to take walks around the campus
I like the current infra and they are making new buildings, massive construction is underway that shall be completed in 2-3 years. Overall like the current infra as well, so yeah, will be great once the new buildings are there.
All the teachers are PHD here and all of them do a lot of hard work, everybody tries to make sure they are putting some efforts but at the same time, i feel, all b schools have become Research oriented and focusing less on studies. MDI can improve by recruiting teachers that teach well.
They have done a really good job this year. PC has become less toxic and they have worked so much to bring in good companies that too in a great number. MDI doesn't inflate placements so everything is real.
I will say that the fees is on a bit higher side for all b-schools, specially MDi, as it charges a bit more as compared to other b schools, and i feel, fees should be a bit less, specially in times of bad market situation.
Campus life is pretty good. A big thanks to it's location. There are so many fests that happen throughout the year and the life here is pretty amazing. Since MDI is under massive construction, life will become even better once completed.
We have an amazing library. The classrooms are modern and spacious (Lakshya building only). Women's hostels are 50 years old and not up to the mark, but new hostels are being built so that is a plus.
I'm studying Human Resources. Grading is based on the bell curve which, in my opinion, is outdated. The syllabus is outdated and needs to keep up with the times. Faculty is not very strict. The pressure on students to achieve marks is not enough.
The placements are market-dependant. The placement report has the required information. For HR, more than 50 companies come for placements. The average salary for HR is Rs 24.5 lakhs. The current systems in place for placements may not be the best but are very efficient.
I wouldn't trade the experiences I've had here for anything else. MDI Gurgaon prepares you for the real world in ways one wouldn't think. The fees for PGDM HRM is around Rs 24 lakhs and according to me it is worth it.
There is at least ONE event every month and MDI Gurgaon doesn't back down from sponsoring its students' events and activities. The college never sleeps. All the common areas are abuzz with life at all times of the day.
They are in rapid development mode. Hostels are an issue especially for girls. The newer hostels are really good. overall the college has everything plus is in the heart of Gurgaon, so everything is easily available.
Academics are not paid much heed unfortunately despite the brand name and it being a tier one college. Curriculum is good. There are some wonderful teachers. The culture of academics is suffering due to students' attitude.
Placements are good. For summers it is great, especially for someone aspiring for a marketing career. All the big brand names come for hiring. Try getting a PPO from summers. The process is random but overall you'll get good.
ROI is decent. Course is 2500000 for 2 years.
Campus life is crazy fun. Unlimited partying, fun activities. It is a beautiful campus, now due to construction greenery has been affected. But overall, still very pretty.
My experience has been a mix. It is a great college for sure but invest only if you are sure about MBA.
Yes, you might get a WATPI/ GDPI call from IIM Shillong and MDI Gurgaon at 98.2 percentile in the CAT. However, getting an Interview call also depends upon various other factors such as Class 10, Class 12, Graduation scores, work experience, academic and gender diversity, etc. along with the CAT percentile obtained by candidates. After the WATPI/ GDPI round, a final composite score is calculated by the institute based on performance of candidates in the CAT, Group Discussion/ Written Ability Test, Personal Interview and other components as decided by the institute and final merit list is prepared. As you have obtained 98.2 percentile, you have a good chance to get a call from IIM Shillong and MDI Gurgaon.
