Hi Aspirant,

Since you have not mentioned your category, considering general category  you can get a good stream in this college under rank 1000 in round 1 only. However for round 2 and last rounds it increases a bit.According to 2019 cut off statistics the cut off rank for first round in CSE was between 434 to 986 .For civil it was below 895 and for mechanical it was below 1550.So if you talk of admission you could easily get admission on scoring rank under 2000, if not in first round but in last round obvious. However cut off varies year to year.

All the best for future.

All the best...REGARDS.

Hi there

Government College of Engineering, Karad is a better option.

Placements in the college are good for the students of all the branches except electrical as electrical students prefer higher studies or GATE. Last year, BPCL recruited two students and offered the salary package of 17 LPA. This year, up to the first semester, around 75 students got placed through college placements, and 31 students from IT. More companies visit the college in the second semester, and last time, 185 students got placed through college placements.

The infrastructure of the college is good. The whole college is enabled with the Wi-Fi facility. The college is in TEQIP-3, so development is going on in the college regarding infrastructure. The college provides all the facilities which are necessary for students including water coolers, ATM, reading room, and a big library.

Faculty members in the college are very helpful. They always support the students to participate in extracurricular activities. The curriculum is well-defined and modified. As it is an autonomous institute, the examination system is also different.

So, overall its a great option for any branch.

Hope this helps. Good luck!
