Government College of Teacher Education, Kozhikode (GCTE Kozhikode) is a reputed college for teacher education in Mananchira, Kozhikode, Kerala. GCTE Kozhikode is an NACC-affiliated and NAAC-accredited college as well as approved by NCTE. Two full-time educational courses are run by the college: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Master of Education (M.Ed).
The Government College of Teacher Education admission procedure is structured with the view of admitting candidates for its teacher training programmes. The Government College of Teacher Education admission procedure is based on merit and marks scored during the qualifying and/or entrance tests as per directions given by the state government, UT administration, and theassociated university.
Eligibility requirements for admission to GCTE Kozhikode differ based on the programme. GCTE Kozhikode offers a Bachelor of Education course with a total of 100 seats. The Government College of Teacher Education admission to the B.Ed course is merit-based, considering the marks scored in the entrance examination and/or qualifying examination. The process of selection is in accordance with the policies formulated by the state government, UT administration, and the affiliated university. The candidates should have passed a bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognised university for admission.
Master of Education degree of GCTE Kozhikode is provided through 50 seats. Merit basis is applicable to join the M.Ed. programme based on the marks scored in the qualifying examination (B.Ed. or equivalent) and/or marks scored in the entrance examination. College may opt for the GATE score or entrance test score for this, based on government and university regulations. Candidates should have done a B.Ed degree or an equivalent from a recognised college to be eligible for the M.Ed course.

Hope you are doing great, There are different institutions offering the B.E.D Course and the admission process depends either on merit or the entrance examination. For entrance test you need to get qualifying score according to the cut off. On an, average the admissions are being processed now from the month of May and can last up to the month of July or August.
