Last year, the closing rank for the Chemical engineering in Government engineering college, Thrissur was 4012 , and a year before that as well it was around the same mark. so, going by the trend in the cut offs, you have less chance of getting admission, but as cut offs  change every year, nothing can be predicted with surety.

considering you as a general category student s you have not mentioned your category. Sorry to tell you but you have very less chances of getting any government college even using your state quota. Even if you able to get government college,you will get in lower branches. As government colleges require high scores.So it's better you should go for private colleges

With rank around 4 lakhs it is not possible to get any government colleges (as per previous years records) but trend changes every year so it is  possible that you might get seat in any of the government colleges, but not your desired seat.
