Hello,

The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranking of the Engineering colleges is as follows

  • Heritage  Institute of Technology, Kolkata: 154
  • Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata: 191

This is NIRF 2020 ranking. Government Engineering College of Ceramic Technology, Kolkata and Kalyani government engineering college, Nadia are not ranked in top 200 Engineering colleges in 2020 by NIRF.

Hey dear, you need to wait for you jee exam only then you can decide where you want to pursue your engineering. Since you are insisting for govt. Enguneering college so only when you clear jee exam than only you can enter any one of them. As far as private colleges are concerned you can take admission any time you want through management quota.

Hi there,

Studying engineering at any govt and private college has no comparison.

If you want to become a good engineer and want good packages and some great companies then try to crack jee so that you could get into a NIT, IIT or any national level private college which is NAAC accredited and having a good Nirf ranking.

Studying at any college is not that fruitful.

I hope this help

Hello,

You have not mentioned which entrance exam you have appeared. for state-level exam rank, it will depend on many factors like branch wise rank cutoff. There is possibility to get Government college on the basis of rank you have mentioned in your query.

If you have any reservation category then it will help you to lower the cutoff rank range. Apply for Government college from your residential state and apply for home state quota. it will surely help you in some extent.

if University is suitable for you then look for some top University campus with average to moderate fee structure.  add it in your college list. Look out for better option.

Hope it helps!

Hello,

As you have mentioned that you have secured 6648th rank in KCET. Firstly, know that it is a very good rank and you may get the branch of your desire in any top college in Karnataka. However, talking about placements there are many colleges whose placement is good. Also placement depends not only on the college but on the capabilities of the students, his/her mental ability and his/her overall personality. The recruitment also depends on thr branch of the course you have opted.

hello,

Chances are More to get VSSUT still it would be better to apply for both the option in the counselling process. There will be some rank relaxation for female category and home state quota but your rank has to be in range of cutoff. You may get in further rounds so keep trying if you don't get in 1st round.

Check 1st round cutoff and how much it will be lowered in 2nd round. Is you rank near to it. Look out for these details and take step.

for current year, cutoff is unpredictable as many factors are still unknown and it will be finalized only 2nd session of jee mains.

Hope it helps!

The campus is good you'll get most of engineering related equipment which used in learning engineering and practical uses of application. And not sure about canteen because it's changed. You need to rely on outside food. Outside the campus

Very Worst College!!!!Dont take admission
