Science and engineering labs often have outdated instruments, limiting students' hands-on experience with new technology. Upgrading labs with AI, IoT, robotics, and automation tools can improve practical learning. Similarly, computer labs should have high-performance systems to support coding, AI, and data science projects.

College Infrastructure
Gec Bilaspur is one of the oldest technical institution in the state. It has well equipped classrooms and labs. During our graduation tenure there was constant upgradation from smart board in classrooms to new software in labs. Being a government institution these changes do sometimes gets trapped in red tapism and a lagness of approval but development has always been in positive curvature.
Very good college if belonging to lower middle class.

College Infrastructure
The college is one of the oldest colleges of Central India so the infrastructure is not that good as compared to private colleges but renovation works are also not properly handled and this is one of the main issues.

Hello aspirant,
The requirements to take admission in Government Engineering College, Bilaspur in undergraduate program are, passing of 10+2 with 45% for unreserved category and 40% for reserved categories from a recognized board. You also have to qualify in either CG PET (Chattisgarh Pre Engineering Test) or JEE MAINS. The admission takes place through councelling and is decided on merit.
For postgraduate programs, marks obtained in GATE exam are considered.

The CG PET cut off 2021 consist of the opening and closing ranks required by the candidates to get admission in the participating institutes of the exam. The authorities consider various factors for determining the CG PET 2021 cutoff like number of applicants, number of seats, the difficulty level of the exam, etc. It should be noted that separate cutoff is released for JEE Main and CG PET qualified candidates.
