Government JMP PG College, Takhatpur Admission Process

Government JMP PG College, Takhatpur is a co-educational institution in Bilaspur district, Chhattisgarh, India. The college provides several undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in the disciplines of arts, science, commerce, and computer applications. Admission to Government JMP PG College is done without bias on merit, so deserving candidates from all the different segments in society can get opportunities for higher education.

Degree-wise Admission Process

B.Sc (Bachelor of Science): There are a total of 120 seats for the B.Sc programs. A pass in science subjects at the 12th standard usually serves as eligibility. Admission is mainly based on merit in the qualifying examination.

B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce): However, for the B.Com program, intake is 100 students. To be eligible, candidates should appear for a respective qualifying examination with commerce or equivalence subjects. Admission is granted on the merit basis of marks scored in the qualifying examination.

BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications): The college has 50 seats available for the BCA program. Typically, students who have passed 12th standard with mathematics are eligible. Selection will be done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.

MA (Master of Arts): It offers M.A. courses in History, Political Science, Sociology, Economics, and Hindi. Each of these programs has an intake capacity of 20 students. Admission to these courses is generally based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the relevant bachelor's degree.
