Hello,

I believe your query is regarding IGNOU for MEC that is master of arts(economics), have you tried putting across your query at https://igram.ignou.ac.in/, if yes and even after this attempt you haven't received any help, then I would say that once this effect of pandemic diminishes or at least a sense of normalcy is restored, visit RC Deoghar in person, that seems to be the only way to solve your problem.

Hello Akhil,

Yes, MEC is good for Civil Services Exam. You can take any stream after your 10 th standard completion. You can study any discipline in Intermediate or Degree and you'll be eligible for writing Civil Services Exam if you meet other criteria. But MEC will be helpful for Civil Services Exam as it has Economics and Commerce which are important topics which a Civil Services aspirant should study.

Hope this was helpful.

Best of Luck!!

Hey Akhil!

Definitely yes.

But these days more than your stream , dedication and hark work matters. If you have interest in MEC  ,I would suggest you to go for that.

Mathematics, Economics and Commerce is the best combination one should go for.

Economics is a main subject in General Studies Paper -II

Mathematics is a very important part of CSAT.

These subjects will also help you to create a strong grip in the finance management.

Like you have mentioned UPSC CSE is your plan A but Entrepreneur,Marketing Manager, Consultant can be your Plan B with these subjects.

Dear aspirant,

With 37,903rd rank in VITEEE Exam, you will neither get admission n Mechanical Engineering nor Electronics and Communication at VIT Vellore and VIT Chennai Engineering as the cut-offs here are below 35000th rank.

But you can get admission at VIT Bhopal and VIT AP either in Electronics and Communication Engineering or Mechanical Engineering branch as the cut-offs here are low as compared to VIT Vellore and VIT Chennai. Still, you can also try till the last counseling round at VIT Chennai because if seats remain vacant then surely you will get admission there.

To get more information regarding VITEEE cut-offs, you can visit the following link:

I hope, you get admission soon.

Hello,

If you're wholly focused on becoming IAS then you should choose humanities stream, as this will help you in your preparation part in the sense you will already be acquainted with subjects such as history, geography, political science, economics etc, as all these are part of UPSC syllabus for GS paper as well as optional and in future if you choose to do graduation in any of the aforementioned subjects, then your subject choice will be aligned with your preparation process, however if you have inclination towards any other career choice, you can go ahead with that also, in general there is no restriction to belong to any stream for upsc exam, candidates from any discipline can appear and diverse backgrounds candidates qualify these exams such as engineering, medical, commerce etc, so in case you want to have a back plan if you're not completely sure at this moment, you can choose it, and later on you can appear for upsc.

College Infrastructure

My college is not so huge compared to other colleges. But we have great facilities such as having Idea lab, Fab lab and many more which very few colleges have. We do have our own play ground as well as basketball court but we don't have a sports faculty,we students itself train ourselves. We have a library but since technology became the centre of attraction, libraries are not used by all the students. The infrastructure maybe small but this very fact has a great advantage which is we know each other very well. We share great bond with each other.

The best Engineering College in the state

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure may not be the highlight facet of the college, but it makes up with the fact that it is situated in a very good place, at the centre of the city of Kochi. Classrooms are great and well maintained, with WiFi available. There are football, basketball and volleyball courts for sports.

The best college where I could bring out my skills in engine
