The postgraduate programmes offered by the College include several MA programmes namely MA in Sociology, MA in History, MA in Hindi and MA in Political Science, besides M.Com and M.Sc. in Chemistry and Zoology. Some of the aforementioned postgraduate courses are run on a self-supporting basis and in such a case the admission procedure and the fee structure may differ from those of the general course.

BA: The BA admission process maintains an intake of 240 seats. Admission to this college is based on a merit list prepared in regard to marks obtained in 10+2 or its equivalent qualifying examinations. This is a programme covering a general study composed of subjects in the arts.
B.Com: 120 seats are available for the Bachelor of Commerce programme. Those students who studied Commerce or related subjects in 10+2 would be given preferential treatment but the admission finally is on merit.
MA Programmes: Sociology, History, Hindi, and Political Science are the subjects for which the college offers MA degrees. Each of them offers 30-40 seats. Selection is made according to merit and on the basis of graduation marks.
M.Com: 40 seats available for this self-financed programme. Those candidates with the B.Com. degree are qualified for merit-based admission in this self-financed programme.
M.Sc Programmes: The college offers M.Sc. courses in Chemistry and Zoology, with 20 seats each. Government Mukut Dhar Pandey College admission to these programmes is self-financed and is based on the merit of the B.Sc. degree.
