Government Polytechnic College, Jodhpur Admission Process

The Government Polytechnic College, Jodhpur (GPC Jodhpur) is an eminent technical institution imparting training in diploma courses in several engineering disciplines. The GPC Jodhpur admission process is being held to identify and select suitable candidates for various diploma programs. The admission of GPC must be on the basis of merit and is said to be quite simple.

Diploma Programs: There are seven full-time diploma programs at GPC Jodhpur, each lasting 3 years. It may be mentioned that the total sanctioned intake of students for all diploma programs in the college is 345. There is likely to be an admission process for these programs along similar lines based on the merit of the qualifying examination. The following are the diploma programs being offered:

1. Diploma in Civil Engineering (84 seats)
2. Diploma in Petroleum Engineering (60 seats)
3. Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering (44 seats)
4. Diploma in Electrical Engineering (44 seats)
5. Diploma in Electronics Engineering (44 seats)
6. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (44 seats)
7. Diploma in Fiber Optics (25 seats)

Candidates are to have completed their 10th standard in these programmes showing the appropriate subjects namely Mathematics and Science. Merit selection is on marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
