Government Polytechnic College, Kadathur is a technical education institution approved by AICTE. Diploma engineering courses are provided in Bosinayakkanahalli Village, Kadathur, Tamil Nadu, to aspiring students. Diploma Programs:
The admission for any of the six full-time engineering diploma courses in GPC Kadathur is approved for 60 students. The admission process is the same for all diploma programs but is executed differently for these diploma courses:

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering: Concerns knowledge imparted concerning construction and infrastructure development. Needs 10+1 passed with good marks in Mathematics and Science subjects.

  • Diploma in Computer Engineering: It is designed for students that are confronted with computers with basic notions of hardware and software and strong analytical skills.

  • Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering: It is primarily based on the principles of electrical and electronics. The program suits students with a good foundation in Physics and Mathematics.

  • Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering: It deals with the study of electronic systems and technologies that communicate. To be suited for this course, the student must have a good foundation in Physics and Mathematics.

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: It deals with design and the manufacture of mechanical systems. Students with interests Physics and Mathematics are ideal for this course.

  • Diploma in Digital Manufacturing Technologies: A new course focusing on digital technologies in manufacturing. Strong analytical and technical skills will be advantageous.

Admission is on merit as per 10+1 examination score, wherein the college may also consider overall performance and extracurricular activities.
