Government Polytechnic, Kavali Admission Process

Government Polytechnic, Kavali, quite simply, has been designed and structured to serve a cause. The institution usually holds admissions for the upcoming academic year from about August to September. Candidates are advised to keep checking on application deadline dates and admission dates as per the notice.

At the very least, a candidate must have completed 10+2 schooling from a board recognized by the Government of India. A good background in mathematics and science subjects will be an added advantage. The admission of candidates into the diploma program shall conform to the admission procedure laid down by the AICTE.

Application Process
Application forms will be available on the official website.

The application form must be filled out with correct personal and academic details.

The applicant must upload the following documents in PDF format:

  • Passport size photo

  • Mark sheet of class X and class XII

  • Proof of birth date

  • Caste certificate, if any (optional)

  • Any other certificates mentioned

Payment for the application form must be done by the mode prescribed.

Completed forms are to be submitted before the last date.

A printout of the submitted form is to be retained for further reference.

Candidates must wait for the merit list for his/her admission.

Degree-wise Admission Process

Diploma in Civil Engineering:
Three years full-time diploma courses with an intake approval of 60 each year. Admission is based on the qualifying examination (10+2) and/or the state-level entrance test for polytechnic admissions.

Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering:
Three-year full-time diploma courses with an intake approval of 60 each year. Admission is based on qualifying exam marks and related entrance exam scores.

Both programs aim to impart the foundational and practical skills essential for the respective technical fields.
