Hindu Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Jind Admission Process

Hindu Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Jind is affiliated with NAAC and offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in arts, commerce, and sciences. The admissions for most of the courses are based on merit so that deserving candidates get an opportunity to pursue their desired specializations.

Degree wise Admission Process

BA: Admission to the BA Course is merit-based. Candidates who have qualified their 10+2 examinations from any recognized board are entitled to apply. The marks in the qualifying examination are considered for the merit list.

B.Com and B.Com (Hons): Admission to B.Com and B.Com (Hons) depends on merit. Those who have cleared their 10+2 examination with Commerce or equivalent subjects are eligible. The college checks the marks obtained in the qualifying examination to prepare the merit list.

BA Mathematics (Hons): The admission procedure for this program is based on a merit list as well. The relevant talent must be offering Mathematics in 10+2 level and should have strong background in the said subject.

B.Sc Physical Science: The college admits students to B.Sc Physical Science through the merit basis selection process. Candidates fulfilling prerequisite qualifications of passing 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics can pursue this program.

M.Sc Mathematics: Candidates must acquire a merit list for admission to the MSc Mathematics course by evaluating marks received in the qualifying bachelor's degree. Students who possess a bachelor's degree in mathematics or any related qualification may apply.

M.Com: M.Com admission will follow the merit list. Any candidate who possesses bachelor's degree in Commerce or equivalent field is deemed eligible to admission in M.Com.

MA History: The admission is based on a merit list to the program of MA History. The bachelor's degree from History or History-related subjects will be eligible to apply.

PGDCA: No particulars have been given regarding the admissions procedure for the Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA) program; however, it may be accepted that the college follows the same merit procedure as for this course also.
