Degree wise Admission Process

B.A. (Bachelor of Arts): With respect to 13 specializations under the B.A. program, popular ones are B.A. in Mathematics, Maithili, Sociology, Political Science, and Psychology. Admission in the B.A. program is usually made on the basis of marks obtained in the 10+2 examination. The college may declare a separate cut-off percentage for all the subjects concerned, which becomes available at the beginning of the admission cycle.

B.Sc. (Bachelor of Science): Five specializations are offered in the B.Sc. program: Zoology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany. Admission into B.Sc. courses is based on merit, considering the marks obtained in the relevant science subjects in the 10+2 examination. The students must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and either Mathematics or Biology in their higher secondary school education. 

B.Com. (Bachelor in Commerce): HPS College offers 2 specializations in B.Com., including B.Com. with Accountancy Honors. Admission to B.Com. is determined with regard to the academic performance at the 10+2 level, with emphasis on the marks obtained in commerce subjects. Preference is usually given to students with commerce or mathematics at the higher secondary level.
