Admission process-wise Degree
B.Com: There are 230 seats approved for the B. Com program at IGGCB. Admission will strictly depend on merit based on marks obtained in the 10+2 examination focused on relevant subjects.
BA: The college has 220 seats for the BA program. Admission is based on merit and considering the candidate's 10+2 examination.
B.Sc Bio Group: The program has a capacity of 200 seats. Admission is made on merit based on 10+2 examination involving Biology subject.
B.Sc Maths Group: The program at IGGCB has 200 seats available. Admission is based on merit for students who had Mathematics as a subject in their 10+2.
B.Sc Computer Science: With 200 seats, this program includes merit-based selection with preference to students having Computer Science or related subjects in their 10+2.
B.Sc Industrial Microbiology: The specialized program includes an intake of 200 candidates, to be admitted on merit depending on relevant science subjects scored in the 10+2 examination.
B.Sc Home Science: There are 40 seats in this program. Merit-based admission is dependent on combined score in the 10+2 examination.
MA English: It has 30 intakes for this postgraduate program at IGGCB. It is based on the marks scored in a relevant undergraduate degree.
MA Economics: The intake is 30 seats for MA Economics, and respective admission will be made considering the candidates' performance in undergraduate studies with special reference to Economics and allied subjects.
M.Com: It has 20 seats available for admission, which are based on the marks obtained in B.Com or an equivalent course undertaken by the candidate.
MA Political Science: This subject is available at IGGCB for 20 students. Admission will be guided by merit through scores achieved in the relevant bachelor's degree.
M.Sc Chemistry: The institute has provided 15 seats for the M.Sc Chemistry course. Admission will be affected through students' performances in B.Sc Chemistry or an equivalent degree.
