IGIT Sarang Facilities
The Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology provides an array of facilities for the students. IGIT Sarang facilities are offered to provide quality living to the students. The library of Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology is open from 9.00 A.M. to 8.00 P.M. with a one-hour lunch break. The Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology library has a vast collection of books, reference books, national and international journals, and others. - Boys Hostel
IGIT Sarang has separate hostels for boys. The boy’s hostels have all the modern facilities. Separate courts for Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton and open gym are also present in the hostels.
- Girls Hostel
The college offers good hostel accommodation for its students. IGIT Sarang has separate hostels for female students. The hostels have a pantry that services hygienic food items to the students. IGIT Sarang girls hostel facilities include common rooms with television and dedicated space for indoor games, an open gym, etc. The hostels have subscriptions for daisy newspapers and magazines.

IGIT Sarang ensures that students medical needs are fulfiled. For this, the college offers medical facilities to students.

Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology has a well-equipped gym with all the modern equipment. IGIT Sarang hostels also have an open gym facility for the students.

Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology library collection include textbooks, reference books, handbooks, journals etc. IGIT Sarang library is open from 9.00 A.M. to 8.00 P.M. with a one-hour lunch break. The library is closed on all Sundays and public holidays.

College Infrastructure
The Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology (IGIT) in Sarang, Odisha, is a prominent engineering college with a good infrastructure for its students and staff. Computer labs with internet facilities and essential software for programming, simulations, and design.

I have got Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology, Sarang (electrical engineering) in 1st round of ojee counselling. It was my 4th choice.
Should I accept my seat or float?
My other 3 choices are
1) mechanical engineering [vssut burla]
2) electrical and electronics engineering [vssut burla]
3)electrical engineering[vssut burla]
There are 2 more rounds left.
Also should I participate in csab( only for nits).

Since you've been allotted Electrical Engineering at IGIT Sarang (4th choice) and your top 3 preferences are at VSSUT Burla which is a more reputed institute with better academics and placements it's wise to choose "Float" and try for a higher option in the next 2 OJEE rounds. If your rank is close to the previous cutoffs of your preferred branches at VSSUT, your chances are decent.
Also, if you're eligible for CSAB counselling (through JEE Main) and interested in getting into NITs, IIITs, or GFTIs, you should participate. It provides another good opportunity, especially if your JEE rank is within range of those institutes' cutoffs.

So according to your percentage that is 56% in 12 class and 90 percentage in JEE MAINS 2025 you do have chances of getting admission into IGIT Sarang college.You can go for branches such as Mechanical, Electrical, Civil. While other branches with higher cutt offs are very difficult for you.
In VSSUT Burla it is difficult for you to get admission because it's the top college and competition is very high here but still you can try in later rounds. Make sure to check the college couselling portal daily.

IGIT Sarang (Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology) Dhenkanal, Odisha offers hostel for girls in which the hostel fee is approximately Rs 28,000 which is to be deposited in the State Bank Collect of IGIT Sarang through e-transfer. You have to pay a mess advance of Rs 2,500 at the time of allotment and Rs 100 as readmission fee. Other than these, you have to pay monthly hostel charges for the respective months.
