Bachelor of Arts is a three-year full-time course offered by Indraprastha College for Women, Delhi.
Inter-disciplinarity truly embodied in its inherent structure, the B.A. (Prog.) course is designed to empower the young women with a firm grasp on different facets of life. It weaves a rich fabric from the vibrant threads of diverse disciplines such as communications (Languages - English/ Hindi/ Sanskrit), Technical Skills (Computer Applications), Life Skills and Community Outreach (Human Development and Family Empowerment), History, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology and Mathematics. Our college stands out from most of the colleges not just by providing the best in time infrastructure but also by encouraging the B.A. (Prog.) students to explore their full potential and make a mark for themselves.
The Faculty for B.A. (Prog.) hail from all departments across the college.
B.A. (Prog.) committee has been formed to evaluate and respond to the needs of students. The members of this committee to come from all the departments bringing with the expertise and knowledge of the different domains.

Eligibility Criteria

A student must have passed Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education/State Board or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto.

College Infrastructure

Indraprastha college for women has a big and beautiful campus with old but well maintained buildings. The campus is clean, safe and has a nice atmosphere. The college has a huge library with many books, good labs for science students, a nice auditorium for events and sports facilities like basketball and tennis courts. However, the classrooms are old and need renovation, there not enough parking space and the hostel facilities are limited. The college infrastructure is good but needs some improvement to make it even better for students.

Campus is so beautiful.

Our college has good and very beautiful infrastructure classrooms buliding are well developed and canteen food are tasty and affordable, college provide library and wifi for students and various type of ground of students.

College Infrastructure

I like the infrastructure of our college. The front building has been maintained since it's been built and has not been manipulated with which holds much history. There is a gym, a swimming pool and beautiful gardens. Food provided in the canteen is good and qualitative as well.
