Jesus and Mary College, Delhi is organising a one-day writing workshop on April 2, 2025.
My college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments and they are easily accessible to all the students. My college has great deal of faculties, who tends to share their valuable experiences through their expertise. The classrooms are well equipped with projects for interactive classes. The libraries and laboratories are also well maintained and we have experienced staff that makes sure the functioning of the studies. The campus is very clean and hygienic.
I am pursuing BA program psychology and philosophy, with psychology as my major and philosophy as my major. This degree provides me an understanding of the psychological interventions and principles as well as the philosophical matter of the ancient and Contemporary world. The curriculum is well updated and includes all the recent developments.
Over the last few years, the quality of placement in my has improved a lot with all the students landing up in great jobs and internships after the completion of their degrees. The students got placed in some great MNC's and start-up companies accumulating great packages.
My course costs around 22k per year and is indeed a great deal with the quality of education that it provides and the facilities, extra curricular activities and exposure to all sorts of diverse fields and parameters.
The campus life is fantastic. The best part of the college is it's beautiful architecture with the red rustic buildings which are well maintained. Our college campus is often filled with the performances of various societies where students from different courses engage with each other.
Jesus and Mary college is a college where u can explore yourself and become the best person of yourself.
It's amazing. Everything is really nice. I love that we have everything a college needs, like projector, psychology labs, audio visual room, computer labs, auditorium, aamphitheater, ground, garden, 2 common rooms.
It's very nice especially the psychology department. Being a psychology major I really love how the professors teach and help us throughout our semesters. I really think it helps us prepare for life even more.
It's good. There are lots of opportunities especially in the commerce field and It's really nice. I love the fact that our college placement cell members are helpful and nice and not rude thankfully.
It's really inexpensive and the quality that we have is outstanding. I love our campus and the vibe. The connection that we make here is long lasting [fingers crossed] I am fully satisfied with our college.
It's normal. Nothing extraordinary. You go to class, you do your work and then go back. But yeah in psychology department we have various conferences which is amazing and insightful. Again It's just normal.
Overall the infrastructure is actually good It has all the facilities and equipments required even had a lift facility too Basic facilities like wifi are also available but students don't have access to it so it's a waste basically. The library and campus ground are the best part And another best part is the hygiene they maintain classrooms, canteen, washrooms , campus ground everything is neat and clean .
I am a third yr student and currently pursuing bcom program from this college Teachers are good and friendly too But recently a lot of students have faced glitch in their 3rd sem result and it has been more than a yr but the issue is still not resolved and they are just ignoring it and not solving it and we are asked to give the exams again even after knowing that we are not actually fail. I would say it is more beneficial to take admission as regular student in JMC .
I have heard about the placement of this college and they are not that great but okay . And as I am ncweb student I am not getting any placement So I don't have any idea about placement companies and the packages they offer .
Our course fees per yr is around ₹4000 in ncweb But we have to pay for examination and other association fee that a regular one pays .
As ncweb we don't have campus life but they surely organizes cultural fests and programs and they are fun
The college is good but only if you are a regular student.
My college does have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Just the washrooms need a bit improvement, we have all the equipments required. A seperate sports room, and a 3 floor library. We do not have a hostel though, we do have clean area but the canteen could use some betterment in canteen
I am studying psychology, i am very passionate about psychology, we have very good faculty for psychology department. Our curicullum is well adapted and i feel we have good faculty. We have all the developments, psychology labs and everything
I am still in first year so i am not sure very much about placements but we do have an active placement cell, which sends us various posts and internships. I feel we have a very good and active placement cell.
The course cost me around 23k and i feel its totally worth it, we have all the facilities and its great, 23k is a very small amount as compared to all the other educational institutions.
We have a very beautifull college campus, we have a 3 stiry libarray with various sections, a huge auditorium and an amphitheatre, an outdoor as well as an indoor gym, good faulty and support staff. We do not have a good canteen though
Yes my college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Classrooms are neat and clean with good ventilation. Have a good football ground and all the necessary sports equipment are updated.
Teachers are one of the best faculty in Jmc. They are interactive . All of them have expertise in their respective subjects and cooperative with their students. There is a healthy and friendly interaction between students and professors.
The central placement cell of jmc serves a liaison between the companies and the student and work tirelessly. There are good scope in Multinational companies . The avg packages served between 4-5 lpa.
College is too good , infrastructure, building , facilities are very good in this college . Classes to too good, there are almost 3-4 floors in every building and have lift in it for your convenience and there is garden and grounds and many more things which are totally outstanding.
Teachers are here are of friendly nature , help you in your academic and many fields . They provide you guidance in your interested field whether related to you course subjects or other unrelated subjects .
There is placement cell in our college which provide different vacancies in different areas. You will get many opportunities there to explore yourself in different fields and can get placement through college .
College is too good and fees is also good. No extra charges are there , you can afford it. Have Pocket friendly college fees
Its too good , every year many programs, fest , parties are conducted for fresher and for seniors . Every occasion is celebrated so nicely. Many competition are conducted through which you earn cash reward also.
Overall nice college
Infrastructure is actually better than many other colleges, however i feel basic necessities like AC, water coolers should be there. We only have 1 water cooler in the entire campus. Rest the infra is nice.
Academically it's very strict. Totally depends on the courses, some courses are good i highly recommend going for Sociology department the faculty is good. The students are also nice. Same goes for the psychology dept.
Depends on courses. Bcom students get most of the placements and the package isn't that high given that it's a college which is semi govt. I don't think the placements provided are of much help. But depends on the course totally.
Yeah it's better off than many other colleges if i see, JMC has good infra, it has a great crowd, it has that necessary exposure which you need from your college life. So i feel it's a college worth going to.
Faculty is really strict, the higher ups in power take bad advantage of it. No appreciation to the students, the council doesn't know what goes in the campus they are just there for name. All decisions are kade by faculty. Worst college fest ever got conducted by the faculty only. In crux bad campus life. The faculty is really bad.
The faculty and principal are really not cooperative. They aren't supportive about anything.
Jesus and Mary infrastructure truly supported a conducive learning environment, making it a fantastic place for students to thrive academically and personally. Overall, the college's infrastructure was a perfect blend of functionality and aesthetics, enhancing the overall college experience for everyone.
Jesus and Mary faculty members were knowledgeable and supportive, providing guidance to students. However, I felt that there could be more emphasis on practical learning experiences and real-world applications of the concepts taught in class.
Jesus and Mary placement cell works diligently to provide students with opportunities for internships and job placements. Students are given guidance and support to enhance their employability skills, making them well-prepared for the competitive job market.
Yes the college is value for money.
Campus Life is good.
Nothing
Our college has the most fantastic infrastructure as compared to many other colleges of Delhi University. It is environment friendly and of course gives a look for the modern infrastructure with the careful planning.
It depends on different departments. As I am from History department, what I feel is that we have experienced professors. Along with that, in my graduation years there are many appointments and as they are new to us, they take some time to become as good as senior professors are. But overall, if I see other colleges where the classes are canceled, this college is not known for this. Also, we get our mentors alloted which is also unique to us. The conducting of tutorials regularly also helps. Professors are friendly as well as they try to keep us in discipline. So, overall it is nice.
As I am a history student, so we do not really get any placements. So, it is a very new area for me. What I feel like, that can be done is providing some internships or add on certificate courses for the student of humanities.
My course costs around 20k per year excluding the examination fee. My course expenditure is really high as compared to other colleges of Delhi University but considering the quality of education and the facilities, it is worth it.
The campus of our college is really big and it is one of the best colleges of south campus and DU. It has lush green gardens with open gym, parks, football ground, basketball grounds, volleyball ground and badminton court. Along with this, we have indoor games option as well. We have a gym in our college. Also, it is located in one of the safest area, the embassy area, which is the most considerate thing for girls. With all this, we have our amphitheater, MPH hall, the Thevenet Hall, common area and many more. We have our canteen where we enjoy food. So, the campus is really good and have enough space for all the activities.
Infrastructure is good.. but like not top level latest infrastructure is there. We have indoor and outdoor gym, sports area ,basketball and football court. Having a separate building for lab and computer practicals. Yes the living spaces are veryy near and clean.
I am pursuing BA programme major in economics. Teachers are really very supportive. Infact you can't differentiate between the teachers and students. All are very young and fashionable. Yes, my curriculum is updated.
I guess It is ok some companies do come to our college. Actually being a second semester student, I am not aware of this as such. But I am sure that companies do come to our college. I don't know the round figure of students placed.
Yes, it is value for money. For one year, it cost me around 22k. Everything is just awesome. Initial you will feel that this is a girls college, there will be nothing but then you start realising that it is quite nice. All teachers are really very good and just Woww.
Jesus and Mary's vibe is very cool and captivating. You will love the peer groups and the surrounding you are living in. It is 1000% safe as the college lies in embassy area. Teachers are very helping.
It is very aesthetic. You will get wooowwwwowoowwwwow photos. College building is very nice.
Hi,
I hope you are doing well.
JMC college and Gargi college both are absolutely wonderful in terms of education and infrastructural facilities, they both provide highly qualified lecturers which provide student best of their abilities and also a wonderful and a calm environment for students to study in .
The placement opportunities in the JMC college for BA history, is good & around 40-50% of students get placed in top companies in the placement cell. Highest package offered to a student recently was 3,00,000 lakhs per annum and on average students get placed with a package salary of 2,00,000 lakhs annum.
Top companies like Deloitte, KMPG, etc take part in the placement cell.
Gargi college has also good placements for its BA history batch students, maximum salary offered to a student recently was 5 lakhs per annum and on average students are placed with a package salary around 2-3 lakhs per annum.
Therefore, both these colleges are very similar in terms of education and placement opportunities. Hence, they both are great and you could go ahead with anyone among them.
