Round 2 seat allotment for CUET 2025 has been released for JMC DU admissions on July 28, 2025.
CUET 2025 first seat allotment was released on July 19, 2025.
Infrastructure is actually better than many other colleges, however i feel basic necessities like AC, water coolers should be there. We only have 1 water cooler in the entire campus. Rest the infra is nice.
Academically it's very strict. Totally depends on the courses, some courses are good i highly recommend going for Sociology department the faculty is good. The students are also nice. Same goes for the psychology dept.
Depends on courses. Bcom students get most of the placements and the package isn't that high given that it's a college which is semi govt. I don't think the placements provided are of much help. But depends on the course totally.
Yeah it's better off than many other colleges if i see, JMC has good infra, it has a great crowd, it has that necessary exposure which you need from your college life. So i feel it's a college worth going to.
Faculty is really strict, the higher ups in power take bad advantage of it. No appreciation to the students, the council doesn't know what goes in the campus they are just there for name. All decisions are kade by faculty. Worst college fest ever got conducted by the faculty only. In crux bad campus life. The faculty is really bad.
The faculty and principal are really not cooperative. They aren't supportive about anything.
Jesus and Mary infrastructure truly supported a conducive learning environment, making it a fantastic place for students to thrive academically and personally. Overall, the college's infrastructure was a perfect blend of functionality and aesthetics, enhancing the overall college experience for everyone.
Jesus and Mary faculty members were knowledgeable and supportive, providing guidance to students. However, I felt that there could be more emphasis on practical learning experiences and real-world applications of the concepts taught in class.
Jesus and Mary placement cell works diligently to provide students with opportunities for internships and job placements. Students are given guidance and support to enhance their employability skills, making them well-prepared for the competitive job market.
Yes the college is value for money.
Campus Life is good.
Nothing
Our college has the most fantastic infrastructure as compared to many other colleges of Delhi University. It is environment friendly and of course gives a look for the modern infrastructure with the careful planning.
It depends on different departments. As I am from History department, what I feel is that we have experienced professors. Along with that, in my graduation years there are many appointments and as they are new to us, they take some time to become as good as senior professors are. But overall, if I see other colleges where the classes are canceled, this college is not known for this. Also, we get our mentors alloted which is also unique to us. The conducting of tutorials regularly also helps. Professors are friendly as well as they try to keep us in discipline. So, overall it is nice.
As I am a history student, so we do not really get any placements. So, it is a very new area for me. What I feel like, that can be done is providing some internships or add on certificate courses for the student of humanities.
My course costs around 20k per year excluding the examination fee. My course expenditure is really high as compared to other colleges of Delhi University but considering the quality of education and the facilities, it is worth it.
The campus of our college is really big and it is one of the best colleges of south campus and DU. It has lush green gardens with open gym, parks, football ground, basketball grounds, volleyball ground and badminton court. Along with this, we have indoor games option as well. We have a gym in our college. Also, it is located in one of the safest area, the embassy area, which is the most considerate thing for girls. With all this, we have our amphitheater, MPH hall, the Thevenet Hall, common area and many more. We have our canteen where we enjoy food. So, the campus is really good and have enough space for all the activities.
Infrastructure is good.. but like not top level latest infrastructure is there. We have indoor and outdoor gym, sports area ,basketball and football court. Having a separate building for lab and computer practicals. Yes the living spaces are veryy near and clean.
I am pursuing BA programme major in economics. Teachers are really very supportive. Infact you can't differentiate between the teachers and students. All are very young and fashionable. Yes, my curriculum is updated.
I guess It is ok some companies do come to our college. Actually being a second semester student, I am not aware of this as such. But I am sure that companies do come to our college. I don't know the round figure of students placed.
Yes, it is value for money. For one year, it cost me around 22k. Everything is just awesome. Initial you will feel that this is a girls college, there will be nothing but then you start realising that it is quite nice. All teachers are really very good and just Woww.
Jesus and Mary's vibe is very cool and captivating. You will love the peer groups and the surrounding you are living in. It is 1000% safe as the college lies in embassy area. Teachers are very helping.
It is very aesthetic. You will get wooowwwwowoowwwwow photos. College building is very nice.
The college has all of the facilities like wifi, canteen, Giant auditorium and haves wifi for students and facility. They have a quiet and library, photocopy shop within the campus which was very helpful for Saturday cause that saves our time.
The teachers were very helpful and compassionate. The amount of knowledge and teaching techniques were commendable. Most of the books were available in the library. The content was upto mark which helps students to excel in career.
College offers the placement and students got good packages as well. They offer jobs within the campus as a assistant lecturer if any of the students showed interest they got guidance from the mentors.
It costed me reasonable price. As the college is situated at a place where you can reach easily by taking auto bus or any private vehicle.. yes I feel every penny was worth spent. It costed me 7k a year.
They have a big playground, garden, auditorium. It was easily accessible to all of the shops and cafés nearby staya Niketan and chaankyapuri .canteen food was too good. They used to have fest freshers and farewell parties.
They offer good education I would say it was the best experience I ever had at JMC.
College has all equipments and facilities required by students. Our infrastructure is one of the best among other DU colleges. The living spaces are clean and well maintained. I was active in sports and I can say that sports centres are well maintained.
I did English Hons. High quality of teaching is provided at JMC. The curriculum is updated and includes all recent developments in the field. Syllabus is according to guidelines by Delhi university. We are job ready by the end of the course.
Not so good placements are provided in my course. Other courses have better placements. Salaries offered to my batchmates were lesser than industry standards. College is supportive and process is easy though.
My course costed 10,000₹ per year. That’s the annual fee at almost all DU colleges. I did my money’s worth. Infrastructure, quality of teaching, exposure everything I got there was upto the mark and is not at all disappointing.
Campus life here is amazing. Your peers, college staff, support staff are very welcoming. Being in girls college you have the independence to wear what you like. There are many events happening there all throughout the year for students to enjoy.
College has necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments. Libraries and sports centres are well utilised and maintained. Living spaces are pretty clean and the vibe the college infrastructure provides is amazing.
I did History hons. The quality of teaching is really very good. My curriculum was updated according to the guidelines given out by Delhi University and included all recent developments in the field. The teaching there does make us job ready.
The quality of placements provided are really good. Top MNCs like Cognisant, come to hire our college students. Internship placements are also very good. Companies like Livon take interns from our college.
My course costed 10K per year. That’s the fee in almost all colleges under DU. Yes the college was worth the money I invested in. I really encourage all girls out there to apply to JMC after 12th. This college provides a really good exposure.
The campus life here is the best. There are activities almost every week. Students can engage in all these activities. The location of the college is a prime location and is safe. It can handle all emergencies as well.
Infrastructure is good. I mean the college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and required equipments. The classrooms are quite well and the teachers are also fantabulous. The college is definitely 5/5.
Well the quality of study is good and the college has bunch of Brilliant students. The curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field. The experience shared by teachers makes me job-ready.
Approximately all the students of previous batches were placed. The students were offered by different companies such as Delloite etc. Different roles offered were such as Supply chain manager, operations head etc. All the faculty members are really helpful.
The course and curriculum adhere to the central curriculum of the University of Delhi. Most of the faculty is friendly and helpful, but there is not a lot of connection between the students and the faculty due to the large number of students in each class.
JMC has a completely different environment. One will feel like being a part of an amazing family. The kind of experience I'm having in this college is beyond words. There's a magic in this place and the people here are fabulous. Senior will always be there for your help. The level of studies are quite high as compared to other colleges including the top ones.
Overall rating is 5/5 because the college is having everything best of all. The study pattern, the teachers, the students, the infrastructure, the facilities, the equipments, the campus .. etc everything is good.
Yes college provide good infrastructure and healthy environment and also provide sports equipment and they also organised some other events. They not provide wifi or smart board but all the things are well maintained.and also hygiene is well maintained in. Washroom and in fooding area.
I'm studying psychology honours. And teacher's way of teaching is very good and even difficult things are easily understood. Our curriculum regularly reviewed and updated to incorporate recent developments in the field.
The placement is good and they also provide good opportunity to students and place them into good companies and the salary is average and good. And process of placement is good and. Easy because they are more supportive.
Yes it's value for money and around. 8k but it's totally worth it because faculty teachers and they also provide extra curricular activities to their students and I learned alot from here. And all the teachers are very helpful.
Campus Life is good and I got lot of memories from here and students are very friendly and surrounding is very good and all the facilities members are very supportive and staff are very calm and the location is very good and easy reach and yes it's easy to handle aal the emergencies.
No I will explain every thing I other section in conclusion it is very good college and I learned alot and yes if you want good exposure you join this college freely. Worth it and thank you sooo much all the facilities to being very nice
Over all it was good but then again if compared to other du colleges I definitely felt a little that way also because of the crowd But according to the crowd and the fees it was quite decent Loved it tho!
The academics were good but some teachers weren’t up to the standards as it happens in almost all colleges because you cannot accprct each and every teacher at one place to bee excellent as I also asked many other college students
The placements there are to be honest just okay because also the the course that I opted for did not have placement and that is also the reason I am doing masters right nowwww just do your research well as to what you want to do
Very good the fees was very lesss and the life that it gives you is quite good. To be honest I think that people mostly go to du for only and only the life that these college’s usually have to offer to any student
As I said previously, the life is pretty good and many students go to Delhi University just for the campus life that it has to offer for all in all my experience with the campus like that my college specially had to give was very nice and I was very happy with what I was expecting and what I got in return
The overall experience that this college gave me was very insightful as well as the experience that I had in those three years. Even though half of my time was pretty much online because of the pandemic was pretty nice and I would like to recommend this to everyone who is thinking of getting into it.
Hi,
I hope you are doing well.
JMC college and Gargi college both are absolutely wonderful in terms of education and infrastructural facilities, they both provide highly qualified lecturers which provide student best of their abilities and also a wonderful and a calm environment for students to study in .
The placement opportunities in the JMC college for BA history, is good & around 40-50% of students get placed in top companies in the placement cell. Highest package offered to a student recently was 3,00,000 lakhs per annum and on average students get placed with a package salary of 2,00,000 lakhs annum.
Top companies like Deloitte, KMPG, etc take part in the placement cell.
Gargi college has also good placements for its BA history batch students, maximum salary offered to a student recently was 5 lakhs per annum and on average students are placed with a package salary around 2-3 lakhs per annum.
Therefore, both these colleges are very similar in terms of education and placement opportunities. Hence, they both are great and you could go ahead with anyone among them.
I hope the above information helps.
All the very best.
