Jogaiah Institute of Technology and Sciences, Palakole Admission Process

Jogaiah Institute of Technology and Sciences (JITS), Palakole, is a renowned institution that provides several undergraduate and postgraduate courses in engineering, technology, and pharmacy. The admission process at JITS is merit-based, and only the topmost deserving students get a seat in the institute.

For B.Tech courses, the students are mainly selected based on candidate performance in the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET). Application Process

Application process for different courses in Jogaiah Institute of Technology and Sciences, Palakole, is as follows:

1. Qualify the concerned entrance exam:

  • For B.Tech: AP EAMCET

  • For MCA: APICET
  • For B.Pharma and M.Pharma: Respective pharmacy entrance exams

8. On successful verification and seat allotment, pay the fees as specified to confirm admission.

9. Visit the institute on the given date for the commencement of the academic year.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Tech: JITS operates five B.Tech courses in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Seats in the courses are offered on the basis of AP EAMCET ranks. A total of 180 seats are approved for the B.Tech courses, including 60 seats for Electronics and Communication Engineering and 30 seats for each of the other four courses.

M.Tech: There are three specializations in M.Tech that are offered by the institute with 12 seats in Computer Science and Engineering, 18 seats in Embedded Systems, and 18 seats in Structural Engineering. The admissions are made through AP PGECET, and after that, seat allotment counseling is done.

MCA: JITS offers a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) program with an approved strength of 30 students. The course admissions are made on the basis of the performance of the candidate in APICET.

B.Pharma: The approved strength of 60 students for JITS's Bachelor of Pharmacy is available. The admissions are probable on the basis of state-level pharmacy course-related entrance exams.

M.Pharma: JITS also has an M.Pharma course in Pharmacology. Admissions are not specified, but they are typically on the basis of postgraduate pharmacy entrance exams.
