I suggest you to choose Lucknow University over KNIT Sultanpur. It has a good rating of 3.6/5. The college's infrastructre is good and equal importance is given to both academics and sports. The placements have a great review with many top companies visiting the campus such as TCS, Infosys with high packages. All the best

Placements: The placement is pretty good in the college but with respect to mechanical engineering, it is around 40 to 50 percent with an average package of around 3.5 lakhs. The highest package ranges from about 8.5 lakhs on campus to 10 lakhs off-campus.  placement is good enough on the campus. Amazon, TCS(Tata Consultancy Service), Honda, and many other forums come here. . Here, senior and juniors relationship is like family. Seniors clear the juniors basic need and with other helpful materials as well.

Infrastructure: Here, the infrastructure is huge. The college is built in nearly about 100-acres.

The whole campus is Wi-Fi connected. Labs are full of AC and machines work properly.

Seeing your girl rank of 830 and 135th rank in armed forces sub category, you have some good chances of getting admission in Kamla Nehru institute of Technology, Sultanpur which is a very good ranked college. The odds are in favour for IT branch but still a backup is needed.

First of all Congratulating you on your nice performance and I would like to tell you that based on your rank in general category and considering the fact that you belong to general category I think it is very difficult for you to get a seat in government college like knit sultanpur but if you have filled your choices accordingly you may get the same college just you need to float till final round.

YEs you may get CSE in knit till the spot counselling as many of the candidates are there which are interested more in IITS and NITS and rest with private colleges with better pplacements thus sometimes the top rankers quit their seats through UPSEE and go for better college according to them and as your obc rank isnt that much so there is a chance , you should go for the spot once.
