Karm Kshetra Post Graduate College, Etawah Admission 2025: Dates, Application Form, Courses, Fees & Eligibility

The Karm Kshetra Post-Graduate College, Etawah, is a reputed government institution affiliated to Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University of Kanpur. The College grants a number of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Arts, Science, and Commerce streams. The admission process at Karm Kshetra Post-Graduate College is conducted for the selection of worth candidates on the basis of merit and by following the instructions laid down either by the state government or the university.

The admission process of the college starts in the months preceding the commencement of the session for the current academic year. Most undergraduate programs offer admissions based on the merit of the qualifying examination (10+2). Admission into post-graduate courses may either be administered solely on the basis of merit or involve another criterion for selection depending on the specific requirements of the concerned department. 

Application Process

The application process at Karm Kshetra Post Graduate College varies slightly from program to program:

1. Obtain the application form: The application form for the course shall be filled on the College website or can be obtained from the College office.

2. Fill up the application form: Fill in all required fields in the application form accurately.

3. Required documents collection: Copies of all documents should be prepared, which include, 

• Passport-size photographs; 
• Mark sheet certificates for the qualifying exams (10th, 12th, graduation where applicable); 
• Character certificate from the last institute attended; 
• Transfer certificate; caste certificate; 
• And any other relevant certificates as mentioned by the college. 

4. Submit the application: Submit the filled application form along with the said documents to the college admission office before the due date.

5. Merit List Preparation: The college will prepare merit lists according to the criterias determined for each program (marks of qualifying exam, results of entrance exam if applicable).

6. Counseling and Seat-allotment: Candidates shortlisted may be called in for counselling sessions whereupon seats are allotted based on merit and availability.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.A.: Admission into the Bachelor of Arts program is conducted on merit; the college uses the marks obtained in the qualifying exam (10+2) as a guideline for the formation of the merit list. The B.A. program has the highest intake of 1825 seats.

B.Sc.: The Bachelor of Science admission process is open only on merit, putting into consideration the 10+2 marks of applicants. The college offers 425 seats for B.Sc. programs.

B.Com.: Similar to B.A. and B.Sc., B.Com. admissions are merit-based and therefore, 180 seats are available.

M.A.: The college offers several M.A. programs in Hindi, English, Sociology, Geography, Political Science, and Economics. The M.A. admissions have generally been on a first-come, first-serve basis with regards to the seat matrix count varying between subjects - Hindi 360, English (Self-Finance) 180, and Sociology and Geography (Self-Finance) 120. 

M.Sc. In Chemistry, Mathematics, and Botany (Self-Finance), admission to the M.Sc. Programs is open. The three programs have 15 seats each, and special consideration may also be given for candidates' marks in their respective bachelor's degrees during the selection process for M.Sc. courses.

B.Ed.: 100 seats are for admission to the Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.) program, conducted on merit considering the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Alternatively, the college may conduct an entrance examination or other selection procedures as per the guidelines from the state government and university. 

M.Com.: 60 seats are for admission to the Master of Commerce (M.com). The admission process will, most likely, consider the candidate's B.COM./equivalent degree marks.

D.El.Ed.: 50 seats are available for the Diploma in Elementary Education Program. Admission is based on the merit of marks in the qualifying examination and/or an entrance examination per state and university policy.
