With this rank you should be able to get a seat in Galgotias and KIET although you might not be able to get a seat in the earlier rounds but in the later rounds of counselling you should be able to get a seat there. However, getting a seat with this rank in AKG will be fairly difficult although you can try in the spot round of counselling where you might have a better chance of getting admission. Hey Aman! You can definitely register for 3rd round, the registration for 3rd round UPSEE counselling starts from 20th july. Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Uttar Pradesh, conducts the state level entrance exam Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam (UPSEE) for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by the University, affiliated colleges.

There us no special fee concession for EWS candidates but if your family income is less than Rs.2lakhs per year , then you can fill a scholarship form for fee concession .  You have to attest your income certificate alongwith other required documents in this scholarship form . A large amount of fee will be refunded. And if you get s seat under fee waiver scheme , then your 100% tuition fee will be exempted and you just have to pay other extra fees.

The below given details are based on the review taken by the passed out CSE branch students from the respective colleges.

ALGEC - 

Placements depend on our soft skills and our hard work. Placement opportunities are provided for CS and IT students. Companies like Amazon, TCS, Infosys, and Tech Mahindra, etc., have visited the campus for placements. This college doesn't provide any placements for the students of core branches like mechanical and civil departments. The average salary package offered for the students who passed out recently was 4 to 5 LPA.

KIET - 

Placements for B.Tech students in KIET are quite decent compared to other colleges of AKTU. The major recruiters are TCS, Tech Mahindra, HCL, Cummins, Torrent Power etc. The average salary package offered is as per the industry standards of the IT sector, which is around 4-5 LPA.

Hi Sagarg, in my opinion, IEM for cse is a better option. Considering all the aspects like faculty, infrastructure, placement, fees and etc I think IEM is a better option for you. I would suggest you to research about both colleges more and then decide which suits you best.
