It is good have many practical labs and workshop for practical work. Campus is also very big. Hostel is available within the campus for both boys and girls. But the campus is not well maintained it needs improvement.
The curriculum of this college is focused on theoretical knowledge only. Don't take admission if you can not learn practical skills on your own. The faculty is supportive and helpful. Opportunities for extra curricular activities is also there.
Many companies come at campus for hiring process. They offer average package like 4 lpa to post graduate students which is low but for a fresher it is good. College support in the placement process but it still needs improvement.
College had very big campus with multiple playgrounds. It has all the necessary facilities like canteen and Wi-Fi enable campus. A open amphitheatre is also there for outdoor activities. Hostel is also available with good hygiene environment.
Academics is very good because all teachers are very supportive and friendly. The curriculum is also updated. The study here makes us job ready for the industry. College also provide notes for each subject and extra classes also to have in depth knowledge.
Placement is not that good but it is average. The college invite many companies to the campus but they are not reputed companies. The placement process is not good as well. The average package is 4 lpa. Some companies also did not give placement after selecting the students.
College has a very big infrastructure and well maintained. The library is big and has reference as well as section to borrow books. They have well built academic buildings with classes and laboratories with all the required equipment.
The quality of teaching of this colleges good. The professor are very good at teaching and most of them have PhD degree in their field of expertise. College also focus on overall development of student by giving and chances of extra curricular activities.
Top recruiting companies like Wipro Microsoft Infosys visit our college for placement purpose. In core CSE and even non core branches students are getting placed in top MNCs with good package. Da average packages around 7 lpa.
College campus is very big and having every facility like classes have projectors and air conditioner. The campus environment is good our college has good playground. There is a library and a canteen also which provide hygienic food.
The faculty in our college are friendly. They help us allot in understanding the concept. The Administration department is very polite with a student. I think the current curriculum is not sufficient for us and it is not updated of new concept and subjects.
Placement of our college is very good. Highly reputed companies visited our college for recruitment purpose. College also support in every process of placement and work as a bridge between students and corporate world.
Hostels of KIET group are very good. They cater to students like service. They also have a good menu in all hostels of the college, and the hostel will be clean. The food they serve is also of good quality, which they are not able to provide to all the students of the college.
Exams are happening every 2–3 weeks. There are exams like PRE CT, CT1, CT2, PUE, and Mackup at KIET College. If you are below a certain number in an exam, you have to attend a remedial class held by your facilitator. Teachers are very helpful if you are not doing any kind of nonsensical thing with them.
The markets are not in good condition because the placement percentage and package were very low compared to usual. The average package would be nearly 600,000 per year this time, and the placement percentage is not that great—hardly 70 percent, which is less than usual.
Good college.
The building of KIET is modern and we do have high tech classrooms and well equipped labs as far as my department is considered. The library also is resourceful. Hostel rooms are decent but have only 4- sharing rooms for boys. The auditorium however is very well equiped and large.
The classrooms have got large strengths so management becomes difficult at times. The faculty is very well experienced and interactive with the students.Integrating more hands on projects could make up even more.
The placement is good enough we have a nice placement cell. The companies which come to the college are mostly mass recruiters but we do get opportunities for dream companies as well.Rest it mainly depends on the students potential and knowledge.
My college had all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment that are essential for studies. My college had a great reputation because of which a large number of students wanted to take admission in KIET. Still today this college is most sought after.
I studied electronics and communication in the college. College faculties were good but the curriculum of the University was more focused on theoritical learning rather than being practical. I dont think my curriculum was updated and included all the recent developments in the field.
My college is renowned for its placements. Usually all the students who are serious for placements get placed in KIET. A large number of companies come to campus to hire and students have many options to choose from. But the bulk of the companies were IT/Software. Average salary was 4 lakh pa.
My cost per year while studying was 1 lakh 70 thousand rupees. For a middle class family this amount is high and i dont think i got my money's worth as i joined Income Tax Department rather than joining a software company. But there is huge scope if ypu get placed in IT companies because growth is high there.
College campus life was great. It was the best thing. Students used to make many societies and get engaged in various social and cultural activities. Students were friendly and most of the staff were also friendly and helpful. The college is located at the highway and easy to access.

You can try:
Less competitive branches
State counseling (UPTAC) for better chances
With a CRL rank of 94k in JEE, your chances of getting into top-tier colleges like AKGEC, KIET, GL Bajaj, or Galgotias for CSE or IT are somewhat limited, especially in the General category. These colleges tend to have higher cutoffs for branches like Computer Science and Information Technology. However, since you're applying through the UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination) counselling, you might still have a chance, particularly if you are from Uttar Pradesh, as there is a state quota that can slightly lower the cutoff for state residents. You may have better chances in branches other than CSE/IT, or in newer/less competitive colleges under the same institutions. Additionally, cutoffs vary year to year, so you should check the previous year's cutoff trends to get a clearer picture. Keep an eye on the counselling process and make sure to list your preferences wisely.
