Kodada Institute of Technology and Science for Women (KITS), in Nalgonda, Telangana, is a premier institute of higher learning. The institution houses a plethora of courses under the engineering category: undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma. KITS follows a systematic admission process that is meant to place in its fold deserving students into various programs.

The admission process in KITS is basically associated with any kind of entrance test in conducting admission to bachelor's degrees. Admission in bachelor's degrees at the institute is based upon the marks scored in TS EAMCET that is the entrance examination of the Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical. For postgraduation, admissions were done via the state's common entrance examination TS PGECET, while diploma courses have their entrance scores from the Test State Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (TS POLYCET).

There is a difference in eligibility as per the program. B.Tech programs require the candidate to have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as important subjects. M.Tech applicants must have a bachelor's degree related to engineering and technology. The eligibility for the diploma requires candidates to pass 10 standard.

Application Process

For B.Tech streams:

1. Take a TS EAMCET exam organized by TSCHE.
2. Register for counseling after the final results are announced.
3. Make choices for KITS and desired programs while attending counseling.
4. Ship designated documents to the college after being assigned a seat.

For M.Tech programs:

1. Qualify in TS PGECET held by Osmania University.
2. Register for the counseling process.
3. During counseling, select KITS and the selected stream.
4. Complete all institute procedures if allotted a seat.

For Diploma courses:

1. Appear for TS POLYCET conducted by SBTET.
2. Attend the counseling session after results are announced.
3. Select KITS as well as the desired diploma course.
4. Report to the institute to finalize admission if allotted a seat.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Tech: KITS offers B.Tech programs in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Data Science. Admission to these programs is based on TS EAMCET scores. The institute has a total intake of 600 seats for B.Tech courses.

M.Tech: The institute provides M.Tech programs in Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Power System, Embedded Systems, Power Electronics and Machine Drives, and VLSI. Admissions are conducted through TS PGECET, followed by counseling. KITS has a total of 111 seats for M.Tech programs.

Diploma: KITS offers diploma courses in Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electricals, and Communication Engineering. Admissions are done on the basis of TS POLYCET scores.
