The classrooms are very spacious and good. Each department has all the centre of excellence labs provided by many companies, such as Siemens, Yokogawa, and Fluke Calibration labs. Hostels provided are well and good, There are two type of hostels: one is the regular one and the other is called Hive, which located outside the campus. The rooms are provided with AC, Wi-Fi, etc.
Teachers are very qualified. The curriculum is very industry-oriented. There are two internal exams. The first internal exam is a bit tough but it will be easy once students get a hold of it. Semester exams will be very easy if students listen in class. Students cannot pass by studying on the last day.
The placements provided by the college were very good and satisfied. The placements training program began from the third year onwards. Students can opt for both the IT services or core placements. Top recruiting companies are HP, Zoho, Schneider Electric, etc.
The infrastructure of our college is incredible. It is the main attraction of our college. The college and hostels are maintained well. The magnificence of this green canopy is great with the infrastructure for academic excellence, general facilities, and four signature buildings such as Ramanandha Adigalar Auditorium, Jyothi Nilayam, Gnana Sabai, and Temple.
The curriculum and syllabus of our college are good and assure both education and entertainment. They have many clubs, forums, and project-based learning curricula to help students expand their knowledge and explore their interests. They provide a lot of opportunities.
The placements in our college are good. Core, service, and product-based companies visit our college to recruit students. You don't have to worry about placement in KCT. They provide us with a 100% placement rate, but we must work hard and utilise our options. The major thing is that the placement team will always be supportive and helpful to us. Don't worry and work hard.
The infrastructure is first class and the hostels has good housekeeping services and has several opportunities for sports almost every games including outdoor and indoor and has many events to show case your opportunities. The college has excellent library with good internet and has many options to fire up your studies.
Teachers are always available for clearing the doubts and all head professor are Ph.D. and with great knowledge. The teaching quality they have is great and they have 2 years of teaching experience. Course curriculum is relevant to the education purpose and also practical lab are conducted on regular bases for industrial purposes. Kct college has set the pass percentage 50% because to make the quality of students high and make students having a great future by achieving high.
Percentage of placement is nearly 80%. 5 lacs to 12 lacs per annum packages are offered. HCl, TCS and Bosh offer placements. The percentage is always above 65% and each company have their own percentage for each of their placement in their company. Mostly students above 80-85% gets placed at top companies with base amount.
College Infrastructure is really good only if you see them about half decade years ago. The college needs an upgrade in laboratories in which most of the equipment are not working during the lab classes and they (the staffs) are pushing us into getting the output of the experiment with that same equipment during the final exams which is unfair. Every equipment is needed to be maintained and checked every 3 or 6 months. To the most, the girls hostel's hygiene is literally worser and it needs the first and foremost priority to the consideration for upgradation or maintenance. We students both boys and girls did the measurements to address the issues to the superiors like Committee Meeting and etc., about the roaming of dogs in the hostel premises making atrocities and spreading insecurities to the girls to stay and the freedom to stay in the hostel is reduced. They even roam college's blocks' corridor which is more threat to all the students and the staffs. Here, coming to the next issue is the food served in the hostel. One day in the girls hostel, the food was served with full cooked froglet, this was happened while serving the food, This was aware of the students and the food servers but no measurement was taken regarding this issue. We request to change to good quality food serving people. Rest of them all are fine.
Academics has no issues so far... The ongoing courses have a good syllabus and every courses are taught in a well good manner including case study, self study, mini projects, group presentation etc., are done.
Still now no drives or company came forward for our batch. But it's time for our placements, they may come sooner or later. The quality of the placements were good in the last year. Currently we're unaware of the placement.
Yeah they're providing 'value for money' education when compared to other colleges in our region. They offer a well good extra curriculum and additional courses to engage within the courses. So that interested student can develop their knowledge and skill from it.
Greatest memories were created with greatest people I've met in those days in that place. I have no regrets that why I chose this place. Really grateful to meet my true friends in my life. Some of them were my brother to me, some were a good mentor to me. Everything for a good cause.
NIL
College has greenish environment, has a lot of spaces. But few of the departments have poor building condition not too bad, still not the best. Has temple, very good library , cricket nets, hockey ground, basket ball ground and all. About the hostel boys hostel is better furnished than girls hostel. Food catering is also different for boys and girls though we pay the same
I am in 3rd year. Everything is good so far. Sometimes teachers wont teach that much, still we can manage on our own. They will give us study materials to refer to.The curriculum should be improved. But not bad.
I am not sure about placements. I am in 6th sem of third year. So far i have not attended any placement drive. Training also has not been started yet. Only aptitude was taught. For electronics domain no specific training is given. Only coding is taught as training. From what i heard from my seniors placement is not that good in here nowadays
Paying 1 lakh for academics and 1 lakh for hostel. This college has very good environment for personal character development and also for learning. No one will force u to do anything here. I like the environment in here.
Very good campus life. Environment is very good for character development, professional attitude and all.
Its worth actually. I had very great transition in my character because of this college.
College Infrastructure-Our college has excellent infrastructure with well-equipped labs, spacious classrooms, and a modern library Our college has excellent infrastructure with well-equipped labs, spacious classrooms, a modern library, and high-speed internet, creating a great learning environment for students.
Our academics are strong, but the focus is mostly on theory, exams, and assignments. More hands-on learning and practical exposure would make it even better. Our academics are strong, providing a solid foundation in core subjects. However, the focus is mainly on theory, exams, and assignments, with limited hands-on learning. Incorporating more practical exposure, industry projects, and skill-based training would enhance our learning experience and better prepare us for real-world challenges. A balanced approach between theory and application would make academics more engaging and effective.
As third-year students, we don’t have full knowledge about placements yet, but from what we see, they seem to be average. Out of 250 third-year ECE students, only about 25% have secured placements so far.
We pay ₹75,000 as college fees, and we feel it’s somewhat worth it
Our college campus is filled with lush green trees and the soothing sounds of birds, creating a peaceful and refreshing environment. It's a great place to learn and relax. Our college provides a safe and secure environment for students. The teachers are supportive and friendly while also maintaining strict academic standards, ensuring a balanced learning experience.
Nothing
College infrastructure is well and good But the drawback is the admin block is good other blocks are not that much good in condition. Library is accessable with many Sports centre, Hostel is well maintained.
I'm studying Electronics and Communication Engineering.Teaching quality is not that much good. Curriculum is not updated to current technology. Our curriculum is old which doesn't help us to get job in competitive society.
Placement is very poor. Especially core placement is very very poor. The core doesn't even come to our College. They students placed in our company percentage is very low. Placement is not easy and pleasant.
Course cost per year is not worthy . I'm not feeling that getting money's worth bcoz curriculum is not updated. They have to increase tha facility in laboratory part . Many things to be improved in the college.
Campus life is ok not that much bad. Many Clubs and forums are there in our college. Which helps students to improve their skills and knowledge. Students and teachers interaction is good. Support staff is more interactive.
No
The college offered a great experience overall during my time there. It has a large playground, well-maintained classrooms, and a clean environment. However, the hostel food was average and could have been better. Despite this, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at college in all other aspects.
During my time at the college, curriculum was well-structured, though it included challenging subjects. However, the faculty's effective teaching methods made even the toughest topics easier to understand, enabling us to gain in-depth knowledge effortlessly.
The placement cell is highly supportive, providing excellent guidance and opportunities. They invited top companies to the campus and motivated students to secure placements in reputable organizations. Additionally, they offered valuable tips and strategies to help students confidently clear selection rounds of major companies.
Kct's infrastructure is impressive, providing a perfect ambiance for quality technical education. The campus is adorned with lush green trees, creating a serene environment for students to spend their quality time.
KCT boasts a spread across 150 acres. It comprises four academic blocks and an administrative building or block, covering more than one-fourth of the total area. Sprawling campus which offers a wide range of courses.
KCT has a strong track record in placements. The college maintains a 4.1/5 rating in this aspect. Numerous companies visit the campus, offering job opportunities to students. Highly experienced mountaineers.
KCT reviews a 2.9/5 ratings in terms of value for money. While education in invaluable, it's essential to consider the investment in terms of knowledge gained and future prospects. And moreover this college is very value for money.
The campus exudes vibrancy, with a 4.7/5 ratings for campus life. Students engage in various activities, clubs, and events. Hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls, ensuring a comfortable stay.
i am very happy
Our KCT college has all necessary infrastructure, in fact all that a student would dream of. Huge sports grounds, auditoriums, smart classrooms, library with modern technology. Food court with tastiest food.
I studied M.E computer science and engineering recently. Academics are really good and up to the international level. Has many modules, training and educating seminars and conferences. Many clubs to keep the students engaging.
Know for its placement records. Everyone who dream of escalating their life in the path of career this place is 100% worth. The faculty guide and train the students with special placement training programme.

If your cutoff is 153, you have a fair chance of getting Mechanical Engineering, especially in some GFTIs, state government colleges, or private engineering colleges. It may be tough in top NITs or IITs, but in colleges with higher closing ranks or less competition, it’s possible. Your chances also depend on your category, home state, and quota like defense. Keep Mechanical as one of your options during counselling and explore similar branches too. Use tools like college predictors to know where you stand, and stay open to other good colleges that offer strong placements and faculty in core branches.
