With reference to your query,  I would glad inform you that mits gwalior    would be the better option as it holds 138 nirf ranking , well organized infrastructure and non-smoking green campus . Faculties are also very helpful and plays huge role in increasing coding culture .  Placement scenario is aslo very decent , most of the students are placed with an average package of 3.5 lakhs and highest went up to 12lakhs

The Common Entrance examination required for admission is JEE Main/ NATA.  As you are seeking admission in Bachelor of Architecture, Unfortunately you have less chances to secure seat as your score is low for B.Arch in this institution as MITS is top Govt Architecture college in Madhya pradesh. RGPV Bhopal is a government Technological Institute of Madhya Pradesh government. To take admission in second year that means lateral entry admission is possible for a candidate when he or she passed three years diploma course or BSc or equivalent course with at least 50% marks and have to face screening test for taking lateral entry in the second year of any Technology College.will be eligible for taking admission in the second year of 4 years BTech course in which the student can complete the BTech course in 3 years.

The placement totally depends upon your skills and knowledge about your field. Even if in your college all the high package offering companies visit but don't have any skill which can get you in that company then of course it's a waste. But yes if we talk about about the placement of MITS gwalior then most of the companies are of IT sector and only few are core companies. So maximum students are recruited to IT companies and only few are recruited to core ones.

At this their are very chances with general category for cse branch but since you mentioned you have obc and state quota then at this case you will get the seat in cse branch for sure.
