The Graduate Record Examinations(GRE) is a standardized test that is an admissions requirement for many graduate schools in the United States and Canada and few in other countries. So, yes you can apply for Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) for Masters after giving this exam. The computer-based GRE General Test consists of six sections. The first section is always the analytical writing section involving separately timed issue and argument tasks. The next five sections consist of two verbal reasoning sections, two quantitative reasoning sections, and either an experimental or research section.

If you are referring to the free-ship which is awarded to the top 100 rankers in MUOET who take admission at MIT,you don't have to pay any fees for as the tution fee which is around 14.5 lakh/4years.But you still have to pay the hostel and Mess fee which depends on the room you have chosen ranging from 90K to 1.8lakh per annum .My rank in MUOET was 104 and I was awarded a merit-cum-means scholarship which is awarded to those who get a rank in between 100 and 1000 and depends on the parents income with a scholarship ranging from 10% to 100% on college fee is awarded. None of the scholarships cover hostel fee.

Highest CTC: 37.26 LPA offered to two students by Rakuten, a Japanese company.

So far, in excess of 850 students from engineering and over 750 management students have been placed, the pandemic notwithstanding! Among the companies that we have placed our students include the likes of IBM, HCL, Michelin India, Amdocs, Infosys, ONGC, Hitachi, Barclays, Axis Bank, Adani Wilmar, Thermax, ITC Ltd, TCS, Times Group and Larsen and Toubro to name a few. ExtraMarks Education Pvt Ltd selected 10 students with the highest CTC of 12.4 L pa. beating out last year highest CTC 10 L pa offered by Schlumberger Ltd.

Congratulations for getting admission in MIT . There is no dress code in hostel but there is dress code for college is very strictly formals .

For girls you can either wear trousers and formal shirts or you can wear kurti with salwar or leggings . transparent, tight attire or sleeveless dresses are not allowed in the college. MITSOB itself dont have any hostel but there are various PGs Flats and hostels available nearby college.
