Amity University | M.Tech Admissions 2025
ApplyRanked amongst top 3% universities globally (QS Rankings).
Hello,
All the colleges which you have mentioned are considered as top private institution in India and comparing them is not easy as every college is best in respective ways. The students mostly gets divided in this colleges and try their level best to get in any of this colleges mentioned above. Now in terms of ranking Amrita is little ahead as it has been given now the global ranking compare to other colleges but ya VIT, SRM and MIT are less strict and more student friendly compare to Amrita University. Now talking about Placement records than i can say that all stands together because all this institution has 90+ percent of placement records which says in itself the popularity of this colleges hence seeing all this factors now it completely depends on you that which college will be best fir you and the field which you are willing to take.
Thank you..
Hello,
The MIT Bangalore is one of the best MIT’s compare to others and also the best private institution for higher studies and hence the demand and popularity of this University is increasing every year as a large number of students apply to get admissions over here, due to this there is a increase in cutoff for this college and you have also score a decent marks to get in it. Now seeing at your rank i can say that it is very difficult for you to get a seat over here in any of the branch atleast your rank should within 10k to 8k than there is little possibility of getting any seat. But definitely you can try in any medium range MIT’s where you will definitely have a good chance of getting seat.
Thank you..
Greetings of the day dear aspirant
The cut-off trends keeps changing every year and it depends on the number of students attempting the exam, difficulty level, number of available seats, etc. With marks of 191, you can very easily secure a CSE seat in Anna University, Chennai as the opening marks for CSE branch was 183 and closing marks of 200 in the year 2018 for General/Open Category candidate. You can also secure a CSE seat at Madras Institute of Technology (MIT) as the opening marks for the same was 176.5 and a closing marks of 199.25. So, just apply to their counselling process and you'll easily secure seat.

Greetings of the day dear aspiranr
Firstly, congrats on successful completion of your MET exam. The cut-off trends keeps changing every year and it depends on the number of students attempting the exam, difficulty level, number of available seats, etc. With a rank near to 16000, its not possible to get CSE or IT branch in their main campus, i.e. Manipal as there is a huge competition for these seats. The cut-off of CSE branch at Manipal campus was 781 in the year 2020. You can try applying for other branches in Manipal campus like Civil, Biotechnology, etc. Also, you can try for branches like CSE, IT, ECE, etc in their Jaipur and Sikkim campuses. Just apply to their counselling process and as it is conducted in different rounds, your chances of securing a seat increases.

Hello,
It is quite difficult to indicate the accurate rank because it depends on the total number of candidates appeared in the exam, highest score, tie breakers and other such factors. For our convenience the expected rank range is assumed to be on between 9000-14000. The actual rank may vary. Considering the previous year cut off here is the list of few branches in which you have chances of getting seat based on the predicted rank
Manipal University, Jaipur
Manipal Institute of Technology
This prediction is based on previous year cut off in round 3 of counselling. The cut off is subjected to change, it may increase or decrease depending on the total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc. The actual rank vary then the branches in which you may have chances of getting seat will also vary.

Dear aspirant,
As you have mentioned that you have got 131 marks in MAHE test and you are wanting to take up cse in manipal main branch, so let me tell you that according to my knowledge your rank would be around 2k-3k .
In this rank it would be a bit difficult to get the core cse branch but you can hope for specialisation branches and also electronics and communication branch. But this predicted rank may vary depending upon various factors such as number of candidates appearing in that examination, number of vacant seats in the college, previous years cut off.

Hello sarvesh,
The cut offs are decided on the basis of the entrance examination of mhcet or you can also go through jee mains.
For Maharashtra and outside Maharashtra state candidates:- Candidates should have passed their 10+2 examination from any recognised board or university with English , Mathematics,Physics as compulsory subjects .
Candidates should obtain a minimum of 50% in pcm group and 45% for Maharashtra candidates.
The total cost of the course of BTech here in mit woh is around 14-15 L. The cut offs are decided upon the number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats, difficulty level of the paper. So, it will vary.
