SAT is one way to reach American universities which is conducted 6 times in India in a year, but getting into MIT needs a lot more.

Olympiad are the best way to reach such universities.

If you reach international level in any international olympiads then you are likely to reach some of the best American colleges, but as far as MIT is concerned from India about 16 students are shortlisted among them about 2-3 students are selected after an interview.

For reaching American college on the basis of SAT you must give an essay exam. for admission in top college(apart from scoring good marks in Sat) essay about yourself is also what matters.

You can also go for Oxford UK by attending  MAT(Maths aptitude test) and thereafter clearing an interview.

However the cut off varies from year to year and depend on so many factors such as number of candidates eligible, number of seats available ,college you opted etc. You have a chance to get an admission with 190 marks based on previous year rank list. MIT accepts IELTS, TOEFL and GRE exams for admission into different courses in Masters of Science (MS).

GMAT and GRE are the accepted exams for admission into MBA program.

Admission in MIT Chennai is not based on JEE mains score. MIT accepts admission through the single window counselling called TNEA which is conducted by the Anna university, Chennai.Admission in totally merit based and the percentage of class 12th is considered for admission.

admission is given on the basis of jee main or MH-CET score. if your score is low but you have reservation category then it would be better to apply. You may get mechanical engineering.

direct admission provision is available but fees will be higher than counselling students. you can get a seat through direct admission.

it would be better to look out for private college as you can get it for ME with low fee structure. there are private colleges who performs best and competes with NIT and IIT campus.

Based on your JEE mains percentile, You can get private institute through Jossa counselling. if you are interested in MIT WPU college then you have to go for direct admission through management quota.

Through management quota, your entrance score is not considered for admission. You have to contact to the college admission authority and discuss regarding the process.
