Hello,

Yes, you can apply for MIT US after 1 year gap after doing 12.

Most U.S. students apply to MIT at the beginning of their final year of high school, and international applicants should do the same. Only accepted students are required to send final grades. Most applicants are 17–19 years of age. And you have to submit a strong application.

I hope this will help you.

All the best !!

Hi, since you want comparision between SIT, Pune an WPU, Pune so here I'm comparing both the colleges on various criterias;

Comparision between SIT, Pune and WPU, Pune

  • CRETERIAS :- SIT, Pune  & WPU, Pune
  • Established Year                              2008                                         1983
  • Total Courses                                     10                                            23
  • College Ranking(India Today)          38                                           138
  • Highest Salary                                  14.50(Lakh)                          37.26(Lakh)
  • Total Fees(4Years)                           10.60(Lakh)                          12.40(Lakh)
  • Eligibility(General) in 12th                 45%                                         50%

So I think now you can better understand and estimate your priority college from both of the colleges. To see more comparision criterias you can compare both the colleges on Careers360 College Comparision tool(link mentioned below);

*There are total 60 Seats available for ME in MIT. This branch was started in 2015.

*However ,the cut off is really high for any branch.You need to get atleast 195 /200 to get desired branch in general category through TNEA.

hello aspirant.

you are eligible to get admission in any college through jee mains result, only if you clear the cutoff declared by the nta. as per the last year cutoff result your jee score of  26 is not enough for clearing jee. you can try with other exam score or your 12 th mark. wait for the jee session 2 results to be out. guess you have attended the exam well.

hope this information was helpful.

Dear Aspirant,

MIT WPU is now a private institute so they don't participate in CAP rounds.If you are willing to take admission in MIT WPU then you have to visit the website of the college and fill their admission form by submitting your CET and JEE Mains score.After the admission forms get closed,the institute will released their merit list,you will be then called according to your rank for seat allotment.So higher your marks and rank,more are the chances of getting a branch of your choice.

Hope you got your answer.

Thank you

Hello ,

Hope you are doing good ,

SAT is one way to reach American universities which is conducted 6 times in India in a year, but getting into MIT needs a lot more.

Olympiad are the best way to reach such universities.

If you reach international level in any international olympiads then you are likely to reach some of the best American colleges, but as far as MIT is concerned from India about 16 students are shortlisted among them about 2-3 students are selected after an interview.

For reaching American college on the basis of SAT you must give an essay exam. for admission in top college(apart from scoring good marks in Sat) essay about yourself is also what matters.

You can also go for Oxford UK by attending  MAT(Maths aptitude test) and thereafter clearing an interview.

Hope this was helpful , Thank you.

Hi,

You have chances in getting admission to MIT. However the cut off varies from year to year and depend on so many factors such as number of candidates eligible, number of seats available ,college you opted etc. You have a chance to get an admission with 190 marks based on previous year rank list.
